PSU LUNDY fouls out late.......so I just threw a TON on Purdue at heavy odds

After LUNDY fouled out and the FTs, Purdue was up 8 with 2:45 left.....now only 2.....Will I get killed on a buzzer beater AGAIN??

I wasn't risking any of my original BR stake, just hard-earned profits.....but in hindsight, that was damn foolish, unnecessary, and greedy.  Probably arrogance as well.  And "life" darned near made me pay bigtime for that foolishness in the final frantic seconds. Had it lost I would have deserved the lesson.

Yes, the odds of winning that bet, at that moment LUNDY fouled out, were very high ....but the point is I should *NEVER* risk such high funds on a meagre payout.  Flukes happen all the time.  It was STUPID! 

I will NOT do that again.

Lesson hopefully learned and can leave it at that.

North Carolina entered the season as the No. 1 team in America in the Associated Press preseason poll.

After an improbable fall that ended without a spot in the NCAA tournament on Selection Sunday, UNC's campaign has ended.

The Tar Heels, the first team to start No. 1 and miss the NCAA tournament since it expanded in 1985, announced they will not accept an invite to the NIT.

They need to give their players the time to write up their press releases announcing their intent to enter the portal.

Murdix is out for TXAMCC after suffering season ending injury last game!

He is their top playmaker/ball-handler, leads the team in steals, and #3 scorer!  Without him they still were able to defeat the #2 team in conference in a close final game, when they got a one-off nightshooting an incredible 57%!!  Your guess as good as mine as to how his loss will affect them going forward, starting Tuesday night.

• surprising finish with 3 wins, but close games, to win ugly SWAC
• In recent weeks, most of their games are very close, against good or bad conference teams.
• *NOTE: #2 scorer Henry, missed first 20 days of January schedule and team went just 1 - 5 without him then, thereby negatively affecting the overall perception of the strength of the team; #4 scorer, Nicholas also missed 3 of those same games!
