Gibbs is a 2-guard forced to play point tonight with one of the nation's best assist men, Travon Woodall, out of the lineup. This would kill a lot of teams, so Pitt is no anomaly.

Wagner is outstanding in its pressure man-to-man defense. This was the ultimate recipe for success against a team playing without its point guard. The flow of the offense was going to be disrupted regardless, but Wagner's style exacerbated Pitt's weakness.

Christmas is less than 2 days away. The student body is gone. Most of these guys were halfway out the door. Wagner? Who the hell is Wagner?

Look at the results of games yesterday and today. Big home favorites have not and will not cover these spreads. Same thing happened last year and it'll happen again next year. Recognize it for what it is and use it to your advantage.

When healthy, Pitt is a very good basketball team. I personally cannot wait to bet on them as underdogs in Big East play.
