Felt like I tried to pull an Aaron Rodgers, after 3 long days on the house grabbed some rotisserie chicken sat in my hot tub in the dark for a good soak to clear my mind.. I came out with the Texas a and m aggies.. why Gig em, these players were so pissed off and slighted last year for being the most deserving team left out of the tourney, buzz Williams wrote a letter to the ncaa giving the low down of how gutless they were for leaving them out. That leads us to this year, that letter clearly influenced the committee in under slotting them. Running the gauntlet of the Sec at 15-3 and not being a 5 or even 6 seed doesn’t make a lot of sense. Now is the time to put up. You get a penn state team that doesn’t do anything particularly well other then shoot the 3. Below average defensive team. Inexperienced head coach. No bigs down low. And Texas a and m is long and athletic and defends the 3 (32 percent) I also think a long run through a big 10 tourney w/how physical it is and then getting handled by Purdue in the title game may leave this team somewhat gassed, they sure didn’t shoot well from 3 in that tourney compared to the regular season and aren’t particularly good away from home. I’ll take the veteran head coaches bunch to try and drag Penn state through the mud with the better defense, the big advantage on the boards, and the innate ability to get to the line and knock down free throws at one of the top rates in the country.
