I still do not like Villanova. I don't know why. They made it to the Final Four I know but I think they are just real hot. Now with a week off to cool down a bit I think they are just due to lay an egg and North Carolina is just so damn good they might win by 30+.

I still do not like Villanova. I don't know why. They made it to the Final Four I know but I think they are just real hot. Now with a week off to cool down a bit I think they are just due to lay an egg and North Carolina is just so damn good they might win by 30+.
Look at all the tight games UNC played and their losses and you will see a common theme: the other team had great gaurd play.... what does Villanova have? Great gaurd play. Villnova's biggest weakness is lack of size. UNC does not have overwhelming size. This is giong to be closer than alot of people think.
Then again, UNC looks like they are clicking on all cylinders right now. Their defensive rotation to gaurd the 3-point shot yesterday against oklahomo was impressive. If Villanova gets in foul trouble or struggles from 3 point land, they are in trouble and will lose by double digits.
I am going with villanova once the public pumps up the spread to 8 or 8.5.... but don't listen to me, i am having a shitty tournament....best of luck.

Never underestimate good guard play and especially excellent team defense. Oh yeah, just like this year everyone was slobbering over Lawson until he was nonexistent in the Final 4.

Have you guys ever watched a Final Four before? It is pretty common for there to be blowouts in the Final Four. Villanova is nowhere near in the same league as North Carolina. And to compare Nova to last years Kansas team is just plain stupid.

nova wins unc overrated.tyler sucks wayne cant dribble all nova needs to do is spread them out.they have 1 quick guy to our 5 go nova the will be ready trust me

for nova to have a chance to win a lower scoring game would be in order, I would expect that could indeed happen and the UNDER may well be the way
This is what Oklahoma thought. I tend to disagree, Nova needs to run whenever possible. UNC is not a good transition defense team, but they are ok when you give them time to set up, especially when Davis is in the game.

i guess guys in steady rotation at 6'9 (hans) 6'10 (ed davis) 6'8 (deon thompson) 7'0 (tyler zellers) aren't great size. ed davis is great defensively when it comes to blocking shots in the paints. there will be two of these guys on the court almost all the time. if UNC plays good at all villanova will need their best game of the year to have a chance
