Meaningless 3-pt at the buzzer: 2
OT screwjobs: 2
Losses by 1 or 1/2: 6
Chase record (trying to stop): 0-1
Yesterday: 2-0 -Providence with a major, Vanderbilt-like collapse so it's nice to see that things even out although I would much rather have had Vandy hold on and PC win, but it is what it is. St. John's won the foulfest at MSG thanks to ND not being able to make a perimeter shot to save their life, which was exactly what I predicted.

Nova coming off a hard fought battle... but I still think UConn is a joke... should be an interesting game.
GL tonight
Agree and I think Villanova is a joke also, but slightly less of a joke.
Fisher/Wayns should handle Kemba/Napier so it's all about the UConn bigs controlling the glass. They should do it, but they won't be able to score like the Nova frontcourt.
Excited to watch it while at work and look for a 2H play

I love the KU lean. Baylor is 0-4 against top 100 RPI teams this year. It is ridiculous a team with as much talent as the Bears isn't even sniffing the top 25. Scott Drew might be doing less with more than any team in the nation this season.

it's funny cuz he did such a great job building the team from scratch, literally, but he forgot to get a PG for this season. A.J. Walton is garbage, and they clearly miss Tweety Carter. I like Kansas, but this line stinks being so low considering KU was -8 @Iowa State and this Iowa State team blew BU out of the water just last game.

I think Baylor is obviously getting a lot of respect from the run they had last year. This isn't a great Kansas team either but I think they match up well tonight and the lack of PG play like you mentioned is the reason why.

Nova and KU are solid. Pitt is scary good. "Undefeated" may be a past tense after tonight. BUT 6 POINTS...
i don't want to be the fish taking an undefeated team getting 6 on the road, but that's a substantial number considering Pitt's FT woes. Think about this: UConn was +7.5 in the Zoo and I really think I'd favor Syracuse by at least 8 on a neutral.
Don't trust Nova as I think they're overrated, and something smells about the KU line opening so low and then going down for a bit.

Yes I agree but both teams have some serious FT woes. Is this line closer to Cuse +3 with Joseph? Seems like Pitt can always find holes and have success attacking this zone. How is the zone affected with Southerland instead of Joesph? I think I lean on this under.

Losing Joseph's versatility/athleticism is a problem, but they have a ton of size and length behind him.
I think his 3pt shot is the greatest absence, but this should be a low-scoring game and I just don't think a team that lives off of offensive rebounds is big enough to get them from such a deep frontcourt
