Meaningless 3-pt at the buzzer: 2
OT screwjobs: 2
Losses by 1 or 1/2: 6
Chase record (trying to stop): 0-1
Yesterday: 0-1 -Syracuse responded well to the 19-0 deficit, but the Zoo was a problem for them last night. Kudos to the crowd because the Orange couldn't get a foul call when they attacked the basket, yet still almost covered the game line if a late shot went in or if the homerun pass didn't happen. Sorry to all that tailed, let me redeem myself...

add Georgia -4 (-105) vs. Tennessee -Jump on the Tennessee fade train with me everyone! The Dawgs are a better team right now and this line is short even with Bruce Pearl on the sidelines. Their replacement is worse than a bad in-game coach who normally sits on their sidelines and there should be some good support for the Dawgs in a normally quiet building because this is a big rivalry game and the students are finally back from winter break. UGA had to deal with a tough road trip playing Vandy tight and murdering Ole Miss in Oxford, which sets them up for a good performance now that they're finally sleeping in their own beds and their ready to beat a team they massacred last year at home (I had the Dawgs). Mark Fox's team has an extremely athletic wing in Travis Leslie to slow down Scotty Hopson, a very quick backcourt to handle Melvin Goins, and they have two experienced big guys who will exploit Brian Williams and Tobias Harris on the interior. UGA plays great interior defense and block 15% of shots taken against them, so that will force Tennessee to the outside where they have struggled all season.

...strongest of those 3 is Clemson, but I'm not sure I want it. They have never won in Chapel Hill before and they want it really bad, but i'm not sure want translates to what will happen

leans: Alabama +4 Texas Tech +3.5 Clemson +5.5

I don't think UGA will be close, but it could be and that's a short number to play Tennessee if you don't think they'll win.
UNC is really bad and they're a team I want to bet against rather than on, but Clemson can't win there and UNC can hit FTs.
Alabama certainly has a chance, but it'll take some stones to play them and I'm not sure I have them at this point.
My question:
Who the F is betting Oklahoma???
I am with you here. I have been eyeing this for the past 2 hours. Oklahoma is NOT that good. Texas Tech is not either but a bunch of money is going on Oklahoma and that sure is tempting to grab those points. My local has it at +4.............. Hmmmmmmm

The Tennessee Volunteers have had some problems this season. They were ranked early with high expectations, but fell to some mediocre teams. While they may have been over-valued early, the scales have tilted and they are now under-valued. Georgia's stock in the public eye has gone up with their 13-3 record and big win over Kentucky at home. The Vols seem to relish in the role of a small dog as they are 24-9-1 when posted as a dog of +6.5 or less in their last 34. That includes 15-7-1 ATS on the road in that same role. Georgia has not fared well as a favorite where they have gone 0-4 ATS in their last four. The Volunteers have cashed seven of the last 10. Play Tennessee to cash this one.
GWarner, not saying you are wrong at all as your record is super and you have helped me greatly this year. Just putting this out there as another perspective for your perusal. Good luck and again, thanks for helping me out this season.
