Im headed down to LV for three days next week. Staying at the Monte Carlo. Plan is to hit the sportsbook in the evening, and blackjack at night, hit the pool in the afternoon.
Im bringing about 4k to play with, will likely play $300 a game, and will drop 1k on the bjack table for each sitting. 1k for each night, if I go broke, I go to bed. I have done very well in the past with Bjack, and really feel like you need a hefty bankroll to sustain the swings that come with it.
Now I have a players card from my last visits, and I have found that the points you accumulate on the tables is probably ten times more than you do at the sportsbook, and I dont know why that is.
Im going to be playing college hoops mostly, and possibly some NBA. Ive been on a pretty good streak for the past 4 months, up around 15k or so, and have paid off all of my debts, so this money truly is free money.
Question is, should I call them up, or email them and say that Im coming down with x amount to play with. One of my friends goes down, and she hits the high roller table, and probably has about 20k in play in her three day visit. Which really isnt that much at say $100 a hand.
Is it worth me making the call, to try and get some perks out of them, or just go there and accumulate my points, and not pay for meals, and possibly get a room comp.. That is the q.
