I have a 60-1 ticket on Gators (diehard fan) that pays $6k and have only lost $200 hedging so far on auburn last game, I HATE hedging and typically only will do it if I can find a middle worth a shit, however I want to make something from this ticket so am thinking about buying it to 3 a -145 for like $700 and hoping Gators get up early and I can hammer a nice middle...
I am having trouble pulling the trigger for fear I am not thinking of something so any math wizards out there want to tell me why what I am doing is stupid? lol seriously if there is an angle I am missing please let me know thanks in advance

You have a great problem with many options to hedge. Great job getting Florida 60-1.
Yes, you can play it live but I just wanted to share the option of just betting Houston pregame. Since this game is basically a pick, then you can hedge the other side. Also you have only spent $100 so far. Bet $1000 on Houston - you win $5000 or $1000
Bet $2000 Houston- you win $4000 or $2000. You could automatically make $3000 if you want. If you are thinking of hedging then, you are in a great position to win a few thousand without trying to live bet. Just a perspective.

It will be a very close game either way. Calvin Sampson has proven that he has this team believing in themselves and defense wins championships. I would take Houston but I would buy them up to +2.5 or +3.5 for two Grand and possibly hit both. Gl .

I agree with this. Hedge for a guaranteed payout. I think Houston wins, but if they don't I think they also keep it close. If you buy points on Houston, you have the opportunity for a small middle, but with a type of matchup that has a decent chance at hitting that narrow middle.
Just my opinion, of course. Best of luck on whatever you decide to do.
