Not to girl, but I don't post my picks. Why? Because I'm a 50% gambler. My picks are average, at best. I wish more people would stop giving their nonsense opinions.
Ok. That's the end of my rant.

Much appreciated.

Cal Golden Bears. California is just a much better team than U.S.C............Although the Trojans have played 2 good games as of late they are plain and simple a bad basketball team and their record last season as well as this season reflects that accurately. Look for CAL to dominate the boards and push.

What's a "nonsense opinion" though? I mean, nobody on here, or in the world for that matter, can give anything better than their opinion as nobody can correctly predict the outcome of any game. All we're left with are our opinions. Know what I mean?
It's definitely frustrating to tail somebody and lose... especially to go 1-8 (I feel you pain). I used to tail people all the time until I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own formulas on giving myself the best chance to win. I don't win all the time, but I always come out on top by the end of the season.
I now come to this forum to gather useful information like injury reports and such, whenever available. Other than that, I never allow anybody's picks on here to persuade my picks.
Just look at it like a lesson learned.
I find this time of the season to be brutal to win. Maybe that's just me. I did well in mid-December and tend to do well a few weeks after the holidays/new years through February.
Just pick your spots. Don't play a ticket just for the sake of playing a ticket.

I concur on the Cal pick. Cal has a nice well rounded team this year. USC has won their last two over decent ball clubs, but I don't think they are a good enough team to take three in a row. Both teams will want this game bad, so expect full focus and effort from both teams. Edge Cal in that regard.

Mr Marcus, I realize I'm just frustrated, specially after my horrendous week. In my opinion, I just think this site is polluted with TOO many opinions.
Obviously there is no such thing as a 'lock.' (I hate that term). I just feel like if you REALLY have some good insight, then post it. If your picks are guesses, then keep them to yourself. I think that's the only way to improve the overall quality of this site. In my opinion. But I do understand where you're point of view, also.
