Alright boys, I will give this a shot. My $$$$ play is...
Michigan +3.5 vs. Michigan State
-Michigan struggled mightily in their last home showing against Indiana. They are 17-6 and their 6 losses have come against worthy opponents. However, their only signature win was at home vs. Maryland (without Caris LaVert). Indiana was another opportunity for a big win and they failed. Now Michigan State HAS to be a win and I believe John Beilein will have these guys ready to play.
-Against Indiana, UofM held a 24-20 lead with 9 minutes remaining in the first half. UofM did not score a point until there was 18:37 left in the 2nd half. Indiana had made a 28 point run and was now up 24 points....this sucked the air out of the wolverines.
All of that is to say these rivalry games b/w UofM and MSU seem to be very close or blow outs. I will take my chance on Michigan to not be blown out at home two games in row. This team shoots the ball well (17th in %) and doesn't turn the ball over (2nd in turnovers)

UTSA is no bueno. They have extended scoring droughts every single game and this wont work against Marshall who can score with the best of them. Marshall 87 UTSA 68. BOL.

I ended up taking Leicester +1 so it was nice to start the day off on the win. Will have my money pick here in a bit and think it's either to be against the team that had two arrests this week or the team that just had their starting center suspended indefinitely.....

IPFW +3.5. In my eyes they should be slightly favored over Ndsu. Ndsus best player and top scorer is out. I watched them on Thur vs Oral Roberts when he went out late 1st half. They struggled to score, especially when Oru dropped into a zone. Ipfw is for real in this conference and have been playing well even without one of their own best players in Mo Evans. Max Landis put up 44 on Thur and Ndsu best defender Kory Brown is very foul prone. That should be key.

Both teams take their time to set up each possession and rarely toss ahead to push the floor. Each team averages roughly 18-19 seconds of possession length.Yet, Vegas is giving them almost 132 points - why? Both teams rely heavily on the three, make it at a decent rate, and Drake's defense is non-existent. Is this enough to warrant a line around 132? No.
Northern Iowa's Wes Washpun is the best player on the floor. He is NI's point guard and he dictates the tempo (very slow) of the game. Off misses, he likes to pull up and set up the offense. Off offensive rebounds, he reels back and sets it up again as opposed to immediately driving or throwing a put-back - which will be huge for the under. Neither team is good at offensive rebounds, so the ball changing hands from team-to-team will be beneficial for the under; for the same reason, Drake's ugly turnover rate (20%) will be big for us. We want anything that will cause the ball to change hands without a score. Graham Woodward, Drake's PG, is a turnover machine (22%). Drake's center down low, Jacob Jensen, has no handles and the slightest bit of pressure can force a turnover (he's at 21%). Northern Iowa has a decent defense and I expect a lot of steals and a few blocks. Get the ball back in Washpun's hands and he will burn almost 19 seconds of the shot clock (on average) as they set everything up. I love it!
I capped this game at 120 points, well under the line of 131.5 (even though it opened at 133). Enjoy and go big.

Guys I am going to save my $$$$ for tomorrow. I crunched nearly 40 games in my spreadsheet and the biggest advantage I have is 2 points better than the spread and it is a road team. That team is Idaho -4 over Northern Arizona. Using my combo of kenpom and sagarin scores I have Idaho winning by 6. This is not a $$$$ but is my best play for the day. I will try to come up with something better tomorrow. Good luck to all and I may end up tailing some of your picks tonight if I see a good write up. Cheers
