@Freddy66 I know, that's why I said I'm a lightweight. Didn't know it. He could shoot as well as anyone in the country. My question is with him would Houston be a very good championship bet?
end of the day I don’t think they get past AZ but if they do I think they beat Kans and got to champ game and lose

this just proves how differently people see things. this is also why I dont fall in love with any of my own analysis and stick to strict unit sizing.
that houston -4.5 line was literally a snap call for me the absolute second I saw it, i grabbed it immediately when I saw it because i legitimately thought it was gonna move in the OTHER direction (which I was clearly dead wrong about)........and then holy shit is starts steaming against me lololol...........so I thought that was just a gift and doubled down at -3 and didn't overthink it.
When I watch Illinois I see a team that takes forever to get into offensive sets, and because Kofi literally stands on the block with his hands up that leaves everyone else running around over the top of him. He rarely sets screens, and aside from being a bigfoot he isn't very useful offensively. Houston pretty much doubled him all day and played a very effective 3 man zone outside of the key for most of the day. Really well done imo. Literally 50% of Illinois' shots were 3s, and they were well guarded by Houston, and that just is a bad recipe. SUre they had a couple wide open looks but whatever, tough strategy against an athletic team like Hou
