Last year I started with $100 since it was my first tournament and made up to over $2500. Im thinking about starting with $400 and just taking ML teams that I think will win. Is it pretty easy to take spreads early or what route do you take? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

TRAIN- yeah its not too bad huh? lol. I took a lot of ML favorites though. Just a hunch. I HATE taking point spreads. I made $4400 the past 2 weeks. My goals is to make 2 grand for this tournament. Wish me luck!

Do you think starting with $1590 on 2 Saturday's ago and cashing out with 2 checks for 3 grand is amazing? Just some advice..Need to keep things in perspective and not get too greedy....Also, not trying to brag....

Head- very fun. Are the Saints in Michigan? Last time I checked, they weren't...Yeah the Bills suck, and the organization sucks. I will atleast stick by my teams through thick and thin...

bump....do you guys normally make $2200 in a week or have ever?
Not normally, but I was looking to take a break a few weeks ago and decided to go BIG on a play and dropped 1/2 of my profits from the season on Maryland 1H +.5 against Duke; won that bet and cashed for that week at $2,619.41 basically from the UMD play, Miami Heat -vs- LAL and a few more large bets (large for me anyways). Now, since last Sunday, I've backed off considerably and made a little over $550 this past week not including a future on SDSU to win the MVC at 8/1.
Good shit on turning $100 into twenty times more. Interested in how you accomplished that with mL's. Two team parlays; If-Action or just straight plays? I think several of the higher seeded teams will be overvalued and I actually prefer taking the lower seeded teams in the range from #10 - #14 when getting at least +10 or more. Looking at NMSU, Murray St, Oakland, Wofford, and Montana this year. Really like Wofford...they have an outstanding ATS record the past few years when getting +10 or more. I also think the OU Grizzlies can create a potential scare for Pitt if Nelson stays out of foul trouble.
GL with your plays and hope you decide to post them in the forum.

Justice- David Justice was probably one of the most underrated players in history IMO. Great player. Anyways, I really can't honestly remember what I did last year. Im pretty sure I put $100 on these second round games in a parlay: Louisville, Kansas, UConn, Missouri(sweated that game), Memphis, Pitt, Nova, Duke, UNC, Cuse, Zaga and maybe one or two others. I may have not even taken all of these, but I remember doing an 8 teamer and a 5 teamer with this sort of magnitude and being up over a grand.
I then threw it all on the UNC ML over Gonzaga and then Oklahoma over Cuse.
I guess I got lucky? But I just had a feeling for the games also. A lot of chalk I did but they all won....

NITTANY- wow 2400 in a month? pretty impressive still. I did A LOT of wagering in the past 2 weeks. I did a stupid bet on UTEP ML that im still pissed about but im still up 44 Units over 14 days. Probably my biggest win in my gambling career(a little over a year). I still get nervous watching bball games even when a team I picked is down by 8. I don't know, don't understand the game much as other sports such as football and hockey but I do know that I LOVE bball to gamble on....

Yea man, after getting into College BBall so much I tried wagering back on NBA today and its just not the same. NBA has nothing on College Ball in my opinion. Well, once the playoffs start I think NBA ball really gets interesting again but right now it doesn't hold my interest. MLB spring training doesn't hold my interest. NHL is ok, again, playoffs are worth watching.
Best part about my run is I'm only 47-44-2 total since I started wagering with my $150 balance and I'm up to $2400 right now, started on Superbowl Sunday February 4th.
All about picking your spots to go big in my opinion. My losses are mostly 2 units or less, my wins are mostly 5 units or more. (Unit would be $25 at this point for me)
