UC Davis, a team that is 11-1 and the best team in the Big West GETTING 6.5 on the road vs UC Santa Barbara ....am i missing something here?

UCSB is great @home, best player and big man finally healthy w/ couple games back under belt.. He missed earlier meeting this year where Davis barely skated by at home. UCSB can shoot lights out from deep when hot as well or better than Davis. Sure linesmakers aren't missing anything with the line,,

The line opened at 5.5 and moved up to 6.5 but according to my calculations the line should be 3.44. Also, UC Davis is covering the spread at a very high rate this year. Here is a comparison of ATS trends for each team this year.
Davis all games: 16-5 (76.2%)
UCSB all games: 9-12-1 (47.4%)
Davis after a win: 14-5 (73.7%)
UCSB after a win: 7-4-1 (63.6%)
Davis on the road: 8-4 (66.67%)
UCSB at home: 2-4 (33.3%)
Davis when an underdog: 7-3 (70%)
UCSB when favored: 6-6 (50%)
Davis as road underdog: 6-3 (66.67%)
UCSB as home favorite: 2-4 (33.3%)
Davis after 4+ days rest: 5-3 (62.5%)
UCSB after 4+ days rest: 3-6 (33.3%)
Davis vs conference opponents: 10-2 (83.3%)
UCSB vs conference opponents: 5-7 (41.7%)

I'm sorry but I have to chime in here. UC Davis currently has a two game lead over IC Irvine for 1st place in their conference and still have to play them. Also they they are also currently projected to be a 14 seed in the tourney according to Joe Lunardi. If they were to drop this game and then one to UCI all of a sudden their NCAA Tourney hopes are on the bubble. And there is no guarantee they win their conference tournament and with it the automatic bid. So a loss tonight would truly hurt their chances for an at-large bid. Don't think for a second coaches and players don't know this. Not to mention this game doesn't mean anything to UC Davis
Are they going to lose ATS tonight? Sure it can happen but I doubt seriously it is because they do not come to play or as you put it, "because this game does not mean anything." Please find a different reason they lose ATS cause I'm not buying that one at all.

Lunardi has them as a 14-seed projecting they win the Big West tournament because they are in first place right now.
