The wife story is weak and lame...he is capable of better, but the donkey is getting lazy and tired...its not easy making a pretend 20k with a time crunch an_light

Interpretation:

"Costco" = Fred's Quickie-Mart

"$800" = Change scrounged the past month from under seat of the Pinto

"liqour" = Leftovers in open Schlitz 45 Malt "Liqour" cans outside of "Costco" (see above)

"6 kids and 5 grandkids" = The leftover memories from all those nice girls that worked at "Costco" (see above) the past 30 years

"Tequila and Amnesia Haze" = The leftover memories from all those nice girls from OP's South of the Border runs to supplement his substantial "Turn $7.83 into $4.83" annuities with his Tijuana bookie, Fred (see "Costco" above) 

 

"suana and cold plunge" = Suana -  The initials of where OP was educated -  Southern University of Anally Nuanced Amnesia.  The cold plunge, accordingly, speaks for itself.

Wish you the best man, I hope you hit your goal and surpass it. Two quick things though, and i mean this in a sincere way. 

1) Earlier in the thread someone mentioned, make less bets and upping bet amount. IMO, this seems like a sound strategy. It's your own money of course, and in the end you will do whatever you want to. But i think you should maybe step back and reevaluate your method for hitting your mark. 

2) What did you buy for Xmas that totaled such a high amount? (Literally asking, not trolling)

You're talking about basic money management principles I knew about in the early 70's....

 

I think I'm like 15-3 in college ball...Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't look back, but it feels like 15-3?  I like to diversify the portfolio to mitigate overall risk. When I pick my best bet of the day, often times it's the only one I lose...So I ain't loading up on it.  Right here, right now, I feel that the worst case scenario is that I'll break even or lose 1 or 2 bets... Worst case

 

I'm not going all in on anything- I got a month to make this money back
