Thanks scal! I agree.. went with sienna +15 once line moved up to 7, but still like Monmouth to win. Excited to see a Monmouth Iona rematch! GL
Wow. GREAT tease Eage.
Monmouth goes DOWN to Siena 89-85.
Another failed season for Monmouth in the tournament as they likely won't get an at-large bid again.
How does it affect this bet? I suggest that it is a very good thing because Monmouth was the one team Iona could not beat this year and this clears the path. And now they get Siena who they are 1-1 against and this Siena team is not even as good as last year.
This is why Popovic is a mad genius because this winning streak and all it's weight was too much for the Hawks to bear.
In 2013-2014, Popovic laid off the Thunder while on a 19 game win streak where he insinuated that the streak was becoming too much of a story. They won the titled that year.
The following season he had his team take a dive to the Pelicans on an 11 game win streak so they wouldn't go into the playoffs with that weight in addition to winning a series.
King Rice should have taken note and had them cool off their jets. It's counter-intuitive but it works!

Hear Hear, he only said he would chill out until he felt more confident. The best way to regain confidence is to stop betting but still handicap and see what the results are without financial interest in the game. As soon as the tide turns, you start playing with money again. This is the opposite of chasing bad losses. I'm not sure where Scal is right now, but we'll see by 10PM.
The way out of a slump is to keep shooting. And obviously Scal, regardless of what he said, is gonna keep doing that. Look, I don't fade or tail anybody so none of it matters to me. It's fun to bust Scals b#lls sometimes for his long, thesis like write-ups, his abstract thinking, his broken promises to leave... but at the end of the day he puts a lot of time and heart into his analysis and his write-ups and he's not some fake a$$ tout. I'll take 10 Scals over some of these dudes that'll cap one or two obvious game and all of a sudden think they're gods gift to sports betting. Then they try to lure you to their facebook or instagram to hit you up for money. Touts are scum and Scals no tout. Only a handfull of guys on here put that kind of heart into their post without asking for money. Does he lose some? Sure.. but if he didn't, Covers would've kicked him off of here a long time ago.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Exactly.
I sell nothing.
And the reason is simple.
It's the stockbrokers dilemma. Why would you give advice on stocks when you could buy and sell them yourself and make far more money?
Selling picks REMOVES the responsibility to get a winning play. In the short term of course, winning plays will get you more subscribers/buyers but over the long-term, that play means very little because it disintegrates into the mass of picks.
I take the time with each and every write-up to make a play a valued play for the reader.
I WANT that responsibility for the play and that heightens my awareness to find one, and the only way you get that responsibility is if you bet YOUR OWN money. Therefore, a tout can't really be trusted over the long-term. They are putting out volume for subscriptions/buyers but AREN'T taking on the liability.
Imagine if your stockbroker said "I'll match your share buy." Heck you'd be thrilled. He's putting himself in the same boat as me. He must be onto something!
I take on that liability and spread the word on the play as well.
That is the best of both worlds when choosing to follow a play despite recent struggles which we will get out of).

Selling picks REMOVES the responsibility to get a winning play.
(because your subscribers load your account with their money to obtain information and you take on none of the risk of the play itself...if that bolded statement wasn't clear.)

I'll tell you why. It'a because they're bottom feeders. They're dirty, bloodsucking leaches. That's why I have never, and will never, give them business. I'd rather die on my own sword then let some tout run me through.

1st Monmouth goes down, now Iona both Public darlings in this conference going down tonight
Love it when the trolls call a game at the half. It's always worked out well for me.
And public darlings? You have no idea what you are talking about. Iona is not a public darling in the Maac this year. At least be informed when you hurl insults.
