I would say, just looking at the lines and the percentages, this is quite possibly shaping up as the shocker of Round 1 (um, 2).  Good memory for recalling that it was a MEAC school who took ISU out years ago as a #2 - right across the street from where I&#x27;m sitting.

I just saw on Bovada, No for ISU to make the Sweet 16 is -140. That to me is VERY sketchy. Duke, Cuse, and Creighton are all favored to get there. I don't know why ISU wouldn't be favored to get there either. Any of those teams could lose their third round game imo. Think Baylor would give Creighton all they could handle. Ohio State Syracuse wouldn't be easy and Tennessee/Iowa could play with Duke. Very surprised no is favored for Iowa State. I think NC Central will be a tougher opponent than NC or Providence honestly. Iowa State is too deep for Providence and have too many offensive weapons and I just think they're a better team than NC.

Too many people like reliving the past and this Iowa State team is not that team that lost to Hampton. Hoiberg's a good coach, better than Eustachy or whoever was ISU's coach back then. They have good guard play, they're experienced though NC Central is too, they're hungry from last year, played a tough schedule and I really expect them to make a deep run this year.

I picked Iowa st to go all the way the year they lost to Hampton lol!! I have them losing in sweet 16 to nova.

Nova will lose to a scrappy Saint Joseph&#39;s team that knocks off Uconn.

Iowa state is going to the sweet 16. This I am sure of.

This team could play bad for 33 minutes and still win the first few rounds. They were tested all year, game in game out. The big 12 is legit. Also, it was huge they beat Kansas mentally. Once they did that they know they can beat anyone. Kansas was the king of the hill ISU could never get over.
