Has anybody not watched this team to this point? They have not played well at all... Yea you can say they beat Detroit by 15, but even that game was close with 8 left.
This team is not good men... Even if you look at where they match-up for this game.... Point guard??? Ummm Travis Taylor.. shot 2-14 vs N.C state, 4-11, and 0-3 vs Purdue... 5-8 in detroit game and 0 three pointers in that game.. Soooo... Detroit.. Fine.. Now you play N.C to go to Final Four!?? If your point guard has not hit a 3 in the tournament yet... I would be a bit nervous to have my money on him...
Ok.. So where do you go next.. Withey and Robinson right? Ok.. well these 2 haent shot over 50% since the Robinson did against Detroit.. Now you get to face Zeller, and Henson?? Need I say more?
Lets go the guards... Releford vs Barnes? If you have not watched Releford.. He shot 33% in the N.C st game from the field, He shot 64% from FT line as a gueard all season long.. He shot 4-7 vs Purdue, but the guards had to sag, to help down low, which look what the 2 bigs that I mentioned above did against them.. Giving releford some open shots, N.C wont have to do this , plus he has to chase Barnes around on D... GOOD LUCK with that match-up. Barnes with a comming out party today.
Last but not least.. Kansas always has the one 3 point specialist right??? Ummm Teahan... 2-7 vs Purdue, and 0-3 vs N.C state? Now you get the NC guards?? Enough said...
Maybe they get Zeller and Henson in some serious foul trouble, and the gambling gods know there are no guarentees in sports, but I will roll the dice that Kansas ends its bid right here!
