CINCY- Reading more into this game and PROV is really looking forward to this match-up as both teams are going in opposite directions at this point in the season. Last 2 meetings have been tight ball games. 3.5 is too many points for me to lay for a CINCY team that has been down right awful as of late.

Still working on the ZAGS/TENN game thinking about swithcing over to the the ZAGS. They are going the wrong direction no doubt but the players they have are some damn good athletes. PUB is pouring on TENN and the line has really yet to move. This game seems like PITT/GTOWN and then last night UCONN/WVU. I gotta keep telling myself this isnt the BIG EAST either but i hate backing a SEC school as BAMA almost proved why yesterday. I think if i did back TENN the only play is the ML im going to wait to to see what this thing does the rest of the day. But for now thats it BOL all!

Think Michigan lays the wood to Indiana; flat out more athletic team, better schematically, line jumped immediately after being posted - not the sign of a slow push by small bettors but a large push by sharp $$. Got it early @ -7; I think UM wins by 10.
 
Harvard +18 - like it although we'll be sweatin' that one out until the final horn. Harvard is a great free throw shooting and FG% team so I feel they'll make the most out of their opportunities and lose by 14-16 but they HAVE to control tempo of they get crushed
 
Duke is hot!!! I think Davidson is getting a lot of hype b/c of the Curry kid but the problem: He's the main scoring threat and is a perimeter player which plays right into the strength of Duke's defense.  Curry has a bad shooting night and Duke rolls over this overrated team by at least 15 pts.
 
Great write-ups Bird!! I like your style - I also like to research substantially but (and you seem the same) when my gut screams @ me, I go w/it and usually it pays off.  Best of luck w/your plays and I'll be following your plays!!

Bird... Ive been telling myself that Im not taking picks based on what people are saying on this site as last night I made my picks in the morning and did good but right before I left work I added every pick that someone put on here and lost them all so I ended up 4-4 for the night.  But I enjoy reading your write ups...
 
I've been reading throught this thread and like what you have to say... it seems like you are starting to over analyze some of these picks..  Stick with what you have at the beginning of this thread... you've been on a winning streak right?   Stick with it. Dont over think you picks      Youve got a good thing going

I hopped on your NW (small);  still took Cincy (but I made it a small play after reading your thoughts about Providence)  and Im all over Tenn. and South Florida and Duke

I think we have a nice hidden GEM for today. SMS is going the wrong direction at this point in the season but have been playing the cream of the crop of the Conference. Doesn't get any easier tonight with another tough conference opponent. EVANS battled hard against a desperate ISU team in there last outing and some how got it done. I fully expect SMS to come out very flat for this one right from the beginning and EVANS should pour it on them. There has been 2 meetings between these 2 teams that have actually been close back in 04 and 05. The rest has been complete blowouts by the home team or the FAV. If SMS decides to come out and play expect for only 25-30 mintues cause Evansville rebounding, high offienciency on offense, and depth will be to much down the stretch. SMS will just have no legs for this one down the stretch as there last 3 losses have been virtually against the best and now solid EVANS team at home wont get any easier. Also FAV is 6-2 ATS last 8 meetings.

Always enjoy the write ups Bird.

I saw Providence play up close and personal vs UNC Charlotte and also versus St. Mary's out here in Southern Cali in the beginning of the year, and I was not impressed.

Very boring on offense, and I saw them zone St. Marys and Charlotte for almost the entire 2 games..YAAAWN.

Hows Cincy shootin the ball this year? Might be something good to find out as I might take that Cincy play.

Like Duke in that spot as well, and thinkin Harvard might also be a good play

Guys i would strongly recommend staying away from CINCY tonight or play it small. CINCY should bounce back but they are very undisciplined right now and lost on the court if you ask me. This game means a little bit more to PROV than most think...

Looking at it more, Cincy might turn the ball over a lil too much for me and they just dont stick it from the trey land like I would want them too.

Agreed. Also those 2 games on the west coast is very long travel for them. PROV is playing some of there best ball right now in a long time...

HAHA no BIB i couldn't back that team either at this point. Granted the fact they are playing there best ball in a long time you also have to look at the teams they have beat up on bottom feeders of the BIG EAST and a bunch of no bodies at the mid major level. Too early for me to touch them and this is really there 2nd true road game of the season.

I really hope Purdue doesn't start 0-3 in the Big Ten, but possibly if these injuries don't heal quick. As shown last night, playing without Hummell and Kramer is huge. Defense really lacks and the rebounding has been an issue the last couple years.

What part of Indiana?  Lafayette here.  Understand the Purdue Trust.  Having two starters down and no consistent inside makes boilernation nervous.

Bird, you don't have a hard time backing IU when not one scholarship player exists? I gotta feel that's more than alarming, especially against a Michigan team that has drastically changed from a year ago.
 
I'm only playing Michigan small, but I don't feel at one time this year, I'll back IU.  When you can't take the lead once against Northeastern at home, times have gotten bad.
