just had my bookie fack me hard

I have been killing him this week... On a 7-2 run pretty large bets... Last night I went $1k on a two reamer SDSU CBB and Kings NBA... $2600 payout... This morning I get a text saying that the bet went it as a straight for SDSU even though he confirmed with me at the time of placing the bet that it was all good. He said he doesn't know why it seems that THE SYSTEM dropped off the kings and only took SDSU...

Had the kings of covered, that idiot would have told me I lost my parlay... But what to do, at his mercy and have no other book to play with...

I don't understand you pay a guy who puts picks in for you?  Why are you doing this?

I don't pay anyone to out bets in for me... Its a local bookie... We communicate through phone calls and texts.. Meet him only to pick up money or drop off money...

That's just straight up insane. 
In this day and age with soooo many options at your fingertips there is absolutely no reason you should be dealing with someone like that. 
It's absurd you don't even have a website where you place the bets. 
Hasn't this guy heard of the internet?
That way you can confirm all your plays. 
But why not use offshore sites like 5 dimes?
They give you the best odds, the best options and most importantly, THEY PAY!

Is his bookie, the bookie? Then it shouldnt matter. if "the bookie" is the go between, then he needs to be able to "put it into the system" himself.

to be fair, if you play with a reliable local, you get paid in cash every week and can play on credit. its a convenience without a credit or check trail.

After he pays me out this week I will look into playing online...

It has been convenient having a local bookie. Sometimes I feel like he needs me more than I need him. When I don't play for a few weeks he calls me asking if everything is all good... He must only gave a few players but I don't ask that stuff...

To those young kids that don't understand, this is the way it was done in the old days. Been with him since 98... There have been other instances, but this was the one that broke the camels back... I will continue to break him this week then I am out

I completely understand, and that is why I have a local bookie as well. 
But guess what, he has a website that he gives out to all his players. That way there is NO DISPUTE about what bets have been placed. 
What bookie in this day and age doesn't have that setup?
No reason he should taking bets with pen and paper.

Isn't your proof of text enough to show that you had bet a parlay, instead of straight bet?  I used to be in the same boat as you back in the day, text play, get a confirmation, done deal.  If he confirmed your parlay, then that's what the play is.  I would stand my ground and not make another single play until he acknowledges that, especially if he wants your business.  He wants you to keep playing, not end the week (and potential future) with +money.  Good luck.

Sorry I know I sounded like a tout there just trying to help.  What I like most about that method is the live betting they offer.  NBA live bets been treating me well.

Almost all locals use websites now.  I havent heard of a set up like this in a long time.

Find a new book bro.  If he does that shlt to you now, he's going to continue to do it because you let him go the first time. Bomb him for one last bet and get out.

I was thinking the same thing. If he confirmed your text then there should be no dispute. It's his problem for not placing it in correctly. End of story.

I've dealt with this before living in South Philly... thankfully I have one guy that moved to totally online...

I still have my local pen and paper, but i grew tired of the missing bets, no confirmation, middle men and changing lines...

I also love being able to place a bet whenever i want, something most local pen and paper guys dont do...
