KST can beat ANYBODY after that display I witnessed tonight... they hit huge shot after huge shot, made their FTs when it mattered, and appear to have a $hitload of much needed confidence now... best game of the Tourney against XAV, everything after this will seem anti-climactic now I'm afraid...

I bought a ticket here @ the M in Vegas on January 5th and got 75-1. I am pissed that after this hurdle we got over tonight, I didn't put more than the $10 I played. Also got 20-1 on Final 4 and laid $20 so looking OK for longshot bets @ the time. After this game, we can beat anyone. I see KSU vs. Kentucky-Rematch of the 1951 NC game!

I would take Butler + the points for at least $200. That way you still stand a chance of the Wildcats winning and Butler covering... best case scenario. Even though I think K-State takes care of the Bulldogs, there is no way you should wait until the Final 4 to hedge, that's just playing with fire.
GL, I like this K-State team, since my bracket is shot anyway, I am rooting for a K-State-Baylor final.

This is exactly what i was gonna do ($200 on Butler +4.5) unless someone had a better strategy

I don't like hedging bets personally but with 3 games left you need to do some math here. I would hedge 350,700, 1400 for a total of 2450. Why - Option A - if you hedge like this you will win 2550 if KState wins the whole tournament. Option B - if KState loses next game you profit 300, if they win their next game but lose in the Final 4 you will be - (-50, -350, +700) for a 300 profit and the same for the next wager (-50, -350, -700, +300) The question is, is it worth it for you to bet 50 to make 300 (worst case senario of the scenarios I listed) or 50 to make 2550 (best case senario), or let it ride next game and lose 50 if KState loses? Good luck

Why would you hedge by taking the points? Why not just bet the bulldogs and get 1.6 to 1 for your money rather than laying juice on taking butler +4. I also made a futures bet a while go got K-State 75/1, wondering i should hedge wiht butler or wait til F4.

Not worth it either way, the team has no shot at winning it all. Can't win if you can't shoot or at least have a go to guy.
No go to guy? No three point shooters? Two words... Jacob Pullen. I mean am I wrong here? who watched that game last night? This guy throughout the year has hit big shot after big shot. They have the best backcourt in college basketball, they play as a team, are well coached, play great defense and have good big men in kelly and sutton and samuels. This team will make the championship game against kentucky.

If you take the points its not a hedge, its a MIDDLE opportunity
You can win both bets....waaaay better than a simple hedge where you have to lose 1 bet...plus with a spread of 4 or 5 its much better than say if it was a pick or K St was a dog cuz then you have to hedge...

Safe to assume that if they win they will be a PK at the worst in the Final 4 game??
They would be favored over everyone except Ohio State for sure...
Depending on how the Buckeyes perform in the next two games (if they get two blowout wins), I could see the Wildcats being a very slight dog in the Final Four game...

Do yourself and everyone else here a favor and suck on a tailpipe, your lies and desperate cries for attention are truly transparent, you are like an "ant in the afterbirth" (to quote "Manhunter") and everything you post or say here will now be taken not with a grain of salt, but with an atom. You're a loser, you've now dug a hole for yourself that is deeper than the Grand Canyon, and your pathetically defensive bashes of those who called you out on your pretend 20K Cuse wager can only sit back now and laugh in your face.
Go kill yourself
