Historically speaking the dog has covered and usually won outright in this matchup. The average winning margin has been around this number. The question is can Kentucky either outright win at home and/or cover the 6.5. I personally think they do. I haven't decided if I am going to play it or wait for a good live line (would love to get 9-12 points in this game honestly). Anyone playing this and if you are what are you seeing?

As of press time, Uk's 7 footers are still out with injury and Thiero is out, soooo, hard to cap.
Dickinson is a big, but I was glad he didn't pick UK as I kinda hated him as a player at MI. He seemed lazy and only used his size for offense, clunky, much like Purdue's big donkey Edey (sp.?).
I'd take UK ML, but a homer...all or nothing, UK wins straight up or gets blown out, er, more than 7 for sure. Again, homer here. A fast pace would benefit UK...
Kansas has experience/returners and UK is back to using underclassmen which does take time to gel under Coach Cal...Hell may try to middle this game,

I'll bite. Big Kentucky basketball fan, and I follow them closely... Here's my 2 cents:
Kentucky is without a true center tonight because of injuries to two of their 7 footers and the 3rd is still awaiting NCAA clearence. That's obviously a major problem for Kentucky facing one of the best offensive bigs in the country in Hunter Dickinson. However, just as Dickinson will present some matchup issues for Kentucky on the defensive end, I expect Kentucky to flip the advantage on offense. Tre Mitchell (very experienced transfer from WVU) will be playing the 5 for us and he can really stretch the floor with his 3 point shot. Kentucky will pull Dickinson out of the paint with Mitchell on the high post or perimeter and make Kansas guard us in space... I do think Kentucky has a good chance to make this a tight game. The current (active) roster is guard heavy with a lot of guys who can create for themselves and others...
I'm staying away from the spread because we are fairly young and lack a true center currently. If I had to choose, I'd lean Kentucky +7.
My personal favorite bet for this game is DJ Wagner over 10.5 points. He's been touted as the most impressive Kentucky player in closed scrimmages that NBA scouts have watched multiple times this year. He's struggled some in the first few games shooting and finishing at the rim, but his reputation is being an ultra competitve, alpha player who loves the big moments. I expect a laser focused Wagner tonight as the bright lights will be on and he isn't afraid to hunt his shots.
Should be a fun game... BOL.

I have a true line of -4.5, assuming everyone is healthy. Kentucky will be without Bradshaw who I have worth roughly 3 points above replacement, so the play/value would be ku -4 to -5.5. Unfortunately that number has come and gone and we're left with -6.5, which is a no play. cats also only going to play 7 guys, 5 are freshman playing their first big game of ncaab career. too many unknowns for me to bet at -6.5. bol

Thank you for the contribution. Especially like the Mitchell stretching the floor comment. You might be on to something. Gonna watch and maybe bet something live.

Yessir! Regardless of outcome, I'm bullish on Kentucky's potential when it comes to March. We just have to get these bigs back to establish some sort of rotation. BOL to you this CBB season, Eddy.

Not a home game for Kentucky this is the 2nd game of the Champion Classic it's in Chicago.
Duke - Michigan State 1st game

Yes it does. That was the only reason I was interested in taking the points. But neutral court probably KU wins. How much no idea. But if I already think that Kentucky is likely not winning I want more than 7 points.

KU Wins and covers only bc neutral court. @jesron1269 i'm shocked you would post this before knowing location. Most of these games will be played on Neutral til December
Scoresandodds are not always right. It said home game played in Lexington. But I always double check on ESPN and when I noticed I said no play. No money was placed yet. It was still a good dialogue. I think you can chill a little on the rhetoric.
