multi billion dollar industry, they have people at every single major game, watching live, doing the stats. by the time you put your bet in, they sent info and odds updated simultaneously.
people have zero advantage unless you got a time machine.
Honestly, thats what I've been doing for 4+ years now. I don't even watch the "live" sporting event. There's no point when the live odds are a minute + ahead..
I rarely bet a game before it starts, unless I really, really like the line. Almost always bet live in game. There was no value betting Kansas ML at -260 pre-game, but when they were down in the first half I kept hammering them ML live.....my last live ML bet got Kansas at +105. Obviously this does not happen all the time, but I love it when a heavy fav is losing in the first half, and come back to win in the 2nd. Great opportunities to catch sometimes + ML odds on a heavy favorite.
