I really do like da'ville as a solid team, but in this match-up Pitt has become much stronger after going through their injury and midseason blues...  
I had a strategy in the recent month or so to bet Louisville almost against any team, but this game really scares me. Cannot Forget the road factor and this Pitt team seems to be on the brink and a win will be crucial...I'm laying off the game since I've been betting Louisville and I think they could lose this game...

BOL figure it should be an impressive and another telling/crucial game in that little mid conference fight...

this is funny how your flip flopping...pitts bigs can be matched up with and ville plays a decent zone D which will force pitt to make some shoots....Louie is a great 2nd half team
if you really want to play pitt, id say do it 1h...i'll be on louie and wisky....

pitt has not been playing well as all of you can see but only one of their L's came at the pete. This is a tough match up and lou is getting pounded. Normally when one side is getting crushed like lou is i normally would go the other way. but i am from pittsburgh and i can see putting more than 50 bucks on this game with the way pitt has been playing. good luck today boys i am on Wisky PK at OSU later today

Pitt has been a team ive been paying closer attention to lately. ever since Fields came back they have been ass slapped by 2 top 25 teams. thats just inexcusable! close to a week to prep against ND and they could only play the first 20 minutes hard.

for pitt, this is a MUST WIN for any hope at a bid. hard to imagine this team was a top 25 2 weeks ago and now they might lose 3 in a row and much more if they don't get their shit together.

for louisville, this marks their 4th last game of the regular season. the only thing that will slow them down is over looking this game for their key matchups at home vs ND and Nova.

for me, this is two very evenly matched teams. but since pitt is at home, i give about a 4/5 point swing with the crowd involved.

Pitino teams and especially Louisville has always peaked at this time of the year. Pitt wins this game if 2 things hpppen Blair is able to be on the court for at least 30 minutes ( they have to have his pressence inside ) and Sam HYoung scores at least 20 (Pitt's best all-aound player)

Game is down to a pick now and Pitt is even favored by 1 at some sites.  Still the majority of the money is coming in on the ville but the line is doing the opposite.

I think Pitt wins this one similar to the West Va game back a few weeks.
 
They really need this here and I think Dixon will get that point across. They still have a chance to continue getting healthy and make deep runs in the Big East and Nat'l tourneys.
 
I think the home crowd is going to be very much into it and Blair is going to play Padgett very tough. Blair has very long arms, fronts extremely well and gets more steals than I've ever seen from someone north of 6'6". I expect Young to shoot a high percentage today and Fields to really play well.
 
I think this will be extremely low scoring and you're going to have to bite your nails throughout for the side. 1 pt either way, is on the button because this is really a pk em game.
 
I think the pyshicalness of Pitt allows them to hang in and win this on the last possession. They will be limited by Louisville's zone and pressure but Fields and Young will handle nicely. I wouldn't use the Rutgers came for comparison here.
 
The last thing too, I would consider the psyhcology a bit here. Pitt needs and wants this game bad- put them back on the map for nat'l notice and set them up for better seedings. L'Ville can almost coast in and get a #1 see in the Big East tourney. Good example of this is yesterday 'Nova/Uconn game.

This is simply one of those games where the Oddsmakers want you to bite on Louiville, but theres SOMETHING that we don't see here...So whenever I see a line like this (hense yesterday's 'Nova -1 1/2 to Uconn who was on a "HOT STREAK" but apparently a hot streak is made up of SU wins by last minute desicions...." so even though I don't like the line you have to take PITT here at such a small line.  Watch the Public RIDE Louisville through the roof. CAREFUL with this one.

1st of all there is no such thing as a team being due for a let down. And it doesn't matter if this is a must win for pitt because they will play the same as usual.

We beat Pitt by double digits on their court last year as 8 point dogs, im trying not be  degenerate and play my team but i think we win this. UL is also 7-1-1 ATS on the road this year.

pitt (pk) 1st half .......average wager

 

they're gonna come out hard cause they need this game.............no ttoo confident in they're ability to finish

 

go pitt first half ...........just have a 32-31 lead......fine by me!

after the first half of the Memphis game, i've learned not to get too excited with fast starts.  Still pissed about not getting the first half over in that game.
