Maryland has been underrated all season long....they keep winning and contradicting Vegas. They have a very good home and road record. I look at the spread and see line moving from -6.5 to -7.5 for Wisconsin while we have around 72% on Maryland and 28% on Wisconsin.
Yes, I understand that probably larger money is on Wisconsin. Initial reaction is to take Maryland because of spread. Last 2 or 3 days, I have reacted on initial reaction but after reviewing and looking at this game....the play is Wisconsin. Why?
As mentioned, Maryland is very good. They win on both home and on the road and Wisconsin's best player may be out. They keep proving Vegas wrong and now we see what appears to be an inflated spread......going with my instinct and play Wisconsin. Should be close for most of the game but Wisconsin will break the game late in the second half.
This is a very similar spread from USC vs UCLA game from last night(-9.5 for UCLA). It just looked improbable that UCLA was favored by that much and we saw what happened.
