Mich St is garbage compared to last years team

I don't understand why everyone is on Mich St today b/c they are no where near as good as last year's team who barely beat Virginia by 2 in the tourney and this year's Virginia team is better than last year's Virginia team. Virginia -4.5 all day for me.

Yes I'm new on here but seriously breakdown this Mich St team compared to last year's team and they are no where close to being as good. Maybe I'm wrong b/c I got suckered into the pts with a horrible Ohio State team yesterday and as far as Kentucky goes well there is a reason why 2 wise guys are coaching at Louisville and Kentucky. Talent wise Mich St is no where close to being as good as last year's team.

buffer - your not wrong. Public is on MSU heavy. I think some of the public love is based on Mich St's brand & Izzo being legendary in his own right. A lot of casual bettors all a sudden wanna drop $ on CBB this time of year but don't know sh*t about either team. Fact is, anyone who has watched this UVA team knows they play shut down defense. 

However, game is a pass for me but If I were gonna pound it, I'd go with UVA -4 (buy the hook). I suspect sharp money will be on UVA.

57-49    They may not be as good as last year but there's no way they wont score more than 49 points they average 72 a game if they don't cover this game it wont be their offense that's the problem its their defense that is suspect still I think they cover and probably win

It is a tight game where it is hard to get an edge. Mich St is nowhere near as good as last year but are gritty. Both Virginia and mich St play defense but Virginia doesn't have any offense. It's either mich St +5 or no play. Can't place a bet on a team with no offense like cincinatti.

States the play they should have beaten Whisky for the big 10 title had the ball and a shot to win it at the end after that miss they gave up in OT final score is miss leading this team always finds a way to get to the sweet 16

Biggest reason is Izzo typically  has his team peaking right now, in my humble opinion.....

People on MSU because of Izzo's history in the tourney. Plus this is a nice match up for Sparty. They play an offensively challenged Virginia team. This will be a tough, grind it out type of game. 5 points is hard to pass up in this spot.

FrankieNapp:  Vegas wants you to take the points..public is all over Michigan St side and the point spread briefly jumped to 5..why? To entice people to continue taking Michigan St.....Virginia is the play.

-4.5 is one of the worst lines they've put up so far. ACC is 9-0 so far. Mich state has some nice players but do not expect them to hit a lot of shots today. Trice and valentine have to go 40%+ or it will be a bloodbath. Anyway the spread should be 7. 2.5 pts wrong but that's use my opinion.

Wow just played it at -4. That is surprising that it went down. Only 2 players can score for msu and they can both be shut down

Thats 2 more than Virginia. People forgetting that MSU plays D also.

Izzo and Alford both deserve coach of the year honors. I watched this Mich St team at home on several occasions and I guess they couldnt execute under the pressure of playing at home. I really dont understand it but I guess playing away from home is the best thing for this team.

#3 I agree that LY's MSU team would beat this year's by 15 points. However this year's MSU team IMO got put in an easier bracket. I've always felt this year is a bridge year for MSU

4th I think next year's team could win the nat'l title
