Mizzou very solid on both sides of ball but they do not have enough size to get through some of the more lengthy/ athletics

What teams do you have in mind?

 Teams with bigs will have trouble with the pressure and also defensively matching up with a 4 guard system. I havent seen a team this season that Mizzou couldnt beat on a given night. Now I'm not saying there arent a lot of teams that couldnt whip MU on a given night, because there are a handful.

Well, very unimpressed with their 1st test of the year, other than the fact that they actually won the game...

Poor shot selection and some bad perimeter defense was really the 2 bad areas tonight.....

They play like this and they could lose in the 1st round of the tourney.....

Oral Roberts up next on new years eve....Probably see a Mizzou -10ish line....

The Pressey brothers along with Dixon, English and Denmon are pretty solid on both ends of the court and provide a nice mix of leadership (3 sr, 1 jr, 1 soph). Moore, Ratcliffe and Green have been better than I anticipated..... 

I doubt you will see these odds for Mizzou much longer, and definately not come tourney time. I'm basically asking them to reach the Sweet 16, and then I can reevaluate and see what the future holds.

Win or lose, I will be in this thread til the end of March, or hopefully early April.

Do I know my team or what. Was wrong about the first loss being to Baylor.

I stayed away from them tonight as I feared a #2 natioanl ranking, a road game and a letdown from beating Baylor would be the perfect storm for a loss, but I couldnt bring myslef to bet on Ok St.

Still like them to win 7 or 8 of the next 11.....They have 4 tough road games left and Baylor, Ok St, Kansas and K St @ home.....

Still pegging Mizzou as a 3 seed.....

This is the year of the Mizzou. Those cock suckers were able to keep DGB over us, they beat their arch rival Kansas a few nights ago, and they have a new boy band that raps....(they are terrible)

Looks like a good bet to me, I see lots of teams I plan on throwing on.  Hell make the final for on a long shot and you are all good.

4 guards will win games, but wont win a title on neutral courts......they may make the elite 8, but i cant see them making the final 4....kansas should have gotten them last weekend..

Cant really argue. It all depends on their draw in the bracket. Elite 8 is doable and past that is tough indeed.

Lookin like 3 or 4 losses as predicted. I dont see them losing to KST at home with revenge, but they will lose @ Kansas. Big 12 tourney will be anybodies.....

Loving the bracket Mizzou got set up in.


4 losses as predicted, a 2 seed which is better than the 3 or 4 I thought. Last season in the Big 12 and winning the conference championship! Fucking priceless!!!!!

No reason not to take a shot with those odds...great value. As far as their draw goes, I don't think the bracket is that easy. If they play Florida or Marquette, those are two teams that are guard oriented and can play four out, one in as well. Florida got screwed to be a #7 seed. And then Izzo is like 6-1 in elite 8's if they played Michigan St
