Took the weekend off to try and get right. Its finally March!
Wake Forest +19.5
Senior night at Cameron for....(checks notes)...2 guys that have been there for about 7 months each. They also are back to being without Maliq Brown, and I'd imagine Proctor doesn't play a lot, if at all. Not a lot of emotion in the building. They have to go to the Dean Dome next, and while UNC doesn't give anyone a real scare, the emotion of the game/rivalry still takes it toll, and give the Deacs a great opportunity to come in, with guys who have played in this gym before and know what to expect, a chance to compete. Probably lose by 15 or so.
FGCU -4.5
These two split in the regular season, each winning at home, and the ASUN plays their tournament games on the home floor of better seeded teams. Also, Queens beat FGCU in last years conference tournament, so a big time revenge spot for the Eagles.
Eastern Kentucky +2.5
Speaking of big time revenge spot, this one is even bigger. Not only did Jacksonville sweep EKU this year in conference play, the Colonels were the number 1 seed in last years tournament, and Jacksonville came into their building and knocked them off. Time to return the favor.
Austin Peay +11.5
The Govs are playing with house money tonight. They won their first game in this tournament yesterday, and now have the gitters and nerves of tournament play behind them (although they scored 90 yesterday, so not real sure they had a lot of nerves to begin with). Same gym as yesterday, so comfort level should be high. They have double revenge after getting swept, and both games were decided by less than this number.
Kansas +9.5
KU should have won the first game but blew it. Bill Self wrote a letter to the KU fans, essentially apologizing for the team not being great after the Texas Tech loss. I'd imagine the effort is A+ from his guys.
Good luck everyone
