Had some free time.  Did I do NBA right?  Someone please doublecheck.

You are basing your system on teams due (and due not) to cover in a tournament setting
 
Think about it, for one moment, why your "system" cannot work.

disco am capping all the games and a goodd couple are showing up
 
depaul is 2-0
cinn is 0-3,,,,,,,,,,,,,cinn is due to cover
 
emu is 4-0,,,,,due to not cover
cmu is 2-0,,,,,
 
rutgers is 0-3......and due to cover
nd is 1-1
 
gt is 0-2,,,,could be due know below the #3

Hey guys I love the system!! I have a question tho about which way the money goes. Yesterday Chatt vs Samford and Chatt was 0-6 ATS with Samford coming off a big win against Citadel and being 1-0 ATS to me it looked like Chatt was  a great pick and I did bet them but the system liked (or leaned) toward Samford because the money was going toward Chatt. Is there anytime that the system would make Chatt a lean even tho the public is putting money on Chatt??

Also S. Alabam was a great play that me and goaline had and IMO it should have been a lean.
You guys are doing a great job, thanks for the system!!

dj but it is working and please understand we need to see where the betting trends are going as all this is PRELIMINARY,,,,,,,do you  think vegas is just going to give you the winners without the proper point spread,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,System is on track to show you why it has been so successful,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The conference tournaments just began. You cannot base team trends in a tournament setting.

right, I agree 100%, tracking them is good, postem them is good...I'm just nervous about calling them 'system leans' because they are different from the actual system leans posted later

one of the names has to be changed to seperate the two

your system is outstanding....with conference tournies semifinals and finals, you may need to take the reverse leans...just a thought...does that make sense Bob?

So, err, no CBB plays as of yet? I read goalline's threads but have trouble making sense of them. It's just fading the longest streaks, I think, but there seems to be additional qualifiers? Can anyone explain this to me? Cheers guys

I would consider it a non-cover, therefore a - , but that's just my opinion.  This is disco's, bob's and wanna's baby.. I'm just along for the ride.

Zeus, the Chatt. game is a bad example, as it was hard to determine where in fact the money was going...
 
In retrospect I should have made it a system no play instead of a weak system lean.

LOL, yeah sometimes bob's posts are hard to read.  You're basically right, though.  Fade a streak of 3 (or more) consecutive covers or 3 (or more) consecutive ATS losses.  The idea is that Vegas doesn't like streaks and will adjust the lines accordingly.  DiscoD69 then evaluates the money trends and some other magic and decides if a play is OFFICIAL.

Bob is also examining a system he calls cellar dwellers evaluating two teams who have similar streaks ATS in the past 2 or 3 games.  That's what all the 1-2, 2-1, 2-0 stats are about.  In these cases, Bob thinks the team with the worst ATS record on the year is the play.

So far both systems have been pretty successful, especially in the NBA.

to answer a question,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,pushes are not considered in most cases,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
 
yes all system does is go against win and loss streaks,,,,,,of 3 or more,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,BUT not official till DISCO applys betting trends and poss line movements and then they are CONFIRMED SYSTEM PLAYS ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Disco from now on i will note EARLY SYSTEM LEANS prior to confirmation from you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hows that

Bob, great work, I have no idea what the system you and disco have come up with but you can get the sheets that tell you each teams current streaks and how they have fared in last 5.  I am sure that you know about these but it is a very easy way to find winning streaks.

i see no different approach to system in confrence as vegas will continue to balance out matchups,,,,,,,,,,,,as most w/l streaks are minimal anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,since this is the first year it is open to discussion and will be a much better tool next year as we go foreward,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe Disco will have an opinion,,???
