Seen a few people on the Redbirds for different reasons so Im going to throw my 2 cents out there for those that care. Very few I know.
These 2 split the season series this year both winning at home by a 4 point margin, but the Redbirds covered in both games just as they have done 8 out of the last 10 in this series.
As some have mentioned So. Ill will get the majority of play simply on name recognition, but to me the Redbirds will have the advantage in this game for a few reasons.
Over the course of the year Ill St. has put up better numbers in almost every category on both sides of the ball, by a slight margin, but none the less better. In the 2nd game of the series this year the Redbirds got to the charity shripe 24 times converting on 18 for 75%. To me this game will come down to the wire and my money will be on the team with better FT%, defensive and rebounding stats over the course of the year. The three things that I believe will be the difference down the stretch.
Theres really not much to harp on for these 2 as they are pretty evenly matched so you can make a case for either team in this matchup.
Salukis are 7-20-1 ATS this year for people who like those kind of stats.

Salukis played without a healthy Bocot for the better part of the year. His last few games he has appeared to hit his stride. Not really sure if it depends on the outcome, but he fits in this offense nicely, when healthy.

The Salukis production has gone down their last five game compared to their season in every category except 3pt% going from 31 to 35%. But on the other hand they give up the 3 at the same rate in the last 5 compared to their season average. They are also rebounding less on both sides of the ball over the last 7 games.
Not a big play just one that stood out.

Hey, Eddie...good to see you posting a thread. Love the Redbirds here. Fantastic spot for them to handle a shorthanded SIU team.
Had a little more free time to put something in writing as I took off work today and tomorrow. Headed down to NOLA for a long weekend. Mardi Gras fellas. Gonna be a good year. Hopefully the rain stays away Saturday.
Good to see you on the Birds as well.

Meaning they are giving up the 3 about about 4% more.
