here's a list of my top 10, I was going to make big thread and do a team each day with a players breakdown, but they don't pay me enough for that...
10. Duke - enough coming back plus they add two lottery picks, one may go first in draft.
9. Kansas - added two above avg transfers who can both score. Wilson, ogbaji, McCormack, Braun all return
8. Illinois - small guards, they are almost all 6-6.1, cockburn will dominate, curbelo took some huge steps last year and should be best player
7. Nova - lost robinson-earl, he was a top 25 player (prpg). unlike most, no major transfer adds, arguably best back court in country
6. Michigan - Eli brooks is back for his 17th year. Dickinson is a monster, Houston is a lottery pick. added jones, a big time scorer from cc.
5. UCLA - almost everyone back from team that went to final 4. added Watson, a lottery pick. added transfer big man miles Johnson, from rutgers.
4. Purdue - has everyone back, williams/edey are dominant at the 5 spot. Ivey may be first guard picked in draft
3. Gonzaga - front court is special, guard play takes a step back with Suggs leaving. Bolton added via transfer
2. Texas - deepest team in cbb, added two bigtime transfers. carr/ramey/jones could challenge Nova for best back court. also added two rotation bigs via transfer who will contribute
1. Memphis - best defensive team in country. Duren and Bates are both future top 5 picks. wings are long and athletic. multiple 40%+ 3 point shooters. their best player from last year will probably be the 4th or 5th option this year. added Timberlake via transfer, he was a big recruit for miami last year, scoring dd in every game he played but one. (only played less than 10 games, injury)
cheers!
