My Terps vs. FSU tonight

11-6 on Terp games this season

Terps get into full swing in the ACC tonight as FSU comes to town; Terps are -5.5 and there is no total yet.  I expect the total to be in the low 140's.

My Terps rolled VT Saturday and really didn't play that well.  Now I admit, if VT is even a middle of the pack team in the ACC this season, I'll be very surprised but any ACC win of 20+ is notable.  Two freshmen scored 43 of our points....very nice.

FSU has had a very mediocre start to the season.  Actually, mediocre might be kind based on what Leonard hamilton has come to expect.  Getting beaten by Auburn, MERCER and crushed at home by Florida is not impressive, not close.  FSU seems to be looking for an identity and they don't appear to have a floor leader and I think like most years, there is some circle jerk going on about talent they just might not have.

FSU has some VERY big bodies in the frontcourt, even bigger than the Terps.  They have two guys right at 7 feet tall that play, we have one.  We have some big bodies that will be just fine as FSU has a really weak rebounding margin number with that size being considered.  If they are soft and I think they are, the two Charles Barkley's (Shaq and Mitchell) on our team are going to F uck them up. 

FSU has Snaer and everyone drools on him.  I personally don't care and let me cut to the chase, I'm insulted by this line.  As I have been telling you guys, we have to make our money now as the Terps have not been disrespected as hard as they are tonight in a long time.  -5.5.........really??  What impresses Vegas?  The Gulf Coast or the Mercer loss?  The win at Clemson this past Saturday?  The same Clemson team that scored ten points in a HALF last night??

We have cut down the turnovers as that had to happen.  FSU will get some easy baskets tonight because we can be a train wreck with the ball handling at times.  That being said, when you have 18+ assist a game and share the ball this well, the assist to turnover ratio doesn't look bad at all.  Rebounding.....please.  They are about even +/- in margin, we are top 5 in the country.  Hostile crowd, overrated FSU, soft on the boards, no real stud that we can't at least slow down, our depth is sick (two guys at ever position, who do you key on?), Len hasn't even come close to playing his best yet (lottery pick), Wells can go for 25 at the drop of a hat........F uck VEGAS!  I am pounding my boys tonight.  Triple play.  I never do this but I really thought this line would be -9+.   I really don't get it.  This line says that if played on a neutral court, the line is one basket.  That is hillarious!

If this line is not -7 or more at tip, I'll be shocked.  I wonder if the Faust bask spasms is keeping it artificially low?  If so, Vegas is really not doing their homework.  Faust will play BUT even if he didn't, his freshman replacement scored 18 points in the FIRST HALF Saturday.  Lol.

I have them confused with someone else who lost to Fla Gulf Coast....who was that???  Anyway, Mercer is almost as bad and oh, that loss was in Tallahassee.  The Auburn loss might be about as bad.

I think Leonard will get completely outcoached tonight as well.  I've enver thought that guy was all that,  He recruits well and gets talent but then......it all goes there to die.  And yes, I did watch basketball last year rhwne they finally put it all together after 10+ years in what was  a very weak ACC in 2011/2012.

yes Flor St has not been that impressive,and at Mary ,I think the Terps roll,should cover the 5 1/2 easily

They lost by only 3 at Kentucky the 1st game of the year and since then have rolled off 13 in a row. 2 games have been by 7 pts and the rest have been dd wins. They just beat VT who was 9-4 when they played them by 23pts. They are 5-1 ats while FSU is 7-5

Clemson, Auburn, Maine all outrebounded FSU.  Based on how upset Turge was after Saturday's game where we outrebounded VT but not by much, I'd bet there was a lot of rebounding focus at practice so far this week.  FSU better shoot lights out to hang......oh, Terps are best in the ACC FG% against.

 

Barring something totally unforeseen, this one is a winner.

I saw this game last as I began to look at today's card.  I first glance I think you are right.  I will have to dig a little deeper before playing it though.  On another note, I am glad your team is good this year.  My Clemson Tigers totally stink.  10 points in the 1st half last night, really? Tough season for sure!

Forget about Faust, your Terps are much better with Seth Allen on the floor IMO.

Up to 6.5 now though.

The public is loading on which typically scares me but sometimes they just put out a shitty line. I'll let other on here who are good at it be concerned with line movements and just cap the game straight up. On paper, this is a bad line. No guarantees that translates to cashing the ticket but I just don't see it.

I went to FSU so I can say my Seminoles. Team does not look good this year but average is a stupid word to use to describe Seminoles basketball over the past few years. We also spank you in football every year.

Leonard Hamilton is a recruiter first, coach second. And he's not in the same league as a coach as Gary was or Turge. That is a fact.
