Most statistical ranking systems had this game as a pick before tip off of the games this evening so I find it very interesting that UNC is a 2.5 favorite.
Why is this?
Was UNC's 17 point win vs. a 10 seed Syracuse more impressive than Nova setting an all time record for victory of margin?
I think not. So why the line shift? I like UNC to win this game but I have to believe the line will settle back down at 2.

UNC could have done more damage but was 0 of 11 from 3pt range in 1st half... it was very staggering being up DD and shooting from downtown that badly and was 50% shooting overall..
Bettors who are too impressed by Novas 40 pt victory beware.

Such a hard game to pick. I have seen people through the tourney not buying into Nova and they keep killing teams. So many scorers for the wildcats and intense defensive pressure. They are so good at forcing turnovers and translating them into points. During the game UNC forced turnovers and went through stretches where they couldn't get points. Villanova could gain a lot of confidence that way. As if they need it! What to do?
