I like the rebounding edge that SJ St has over UCD. Gl tonight
UC-Davis brought in Bradley alum and coaching reject Jim Les to maintain the program, not build or enhance what they are doing. It's a great gig for him, especially with his son getting a free-ride, but that's about the only bright spot for them. SJSU should roll this hapless team. Glad to see you've found an angle on the game. It's a hidden gem on the board in my opinion.
Good luck, Houston.

Akron is a much better team and they're a tough road game. Detroit is weak...seems to me their lines so far this season have held some of the perception of seasons past. Admittedly, I had this line pegged as 4.5, so the large disparity warrants a play based on my standards. The Zips are laying nearly 10 points for a reason.

It's no secret Stanford and UConn are both talented teams. They don't really match up that well, so I expect some give-and-take on both sides. My only concern is that Stanford's outside game suffers on the road...if it does, watch out. But this is a big non-conference road game for them to build on as conference play approaches, and I think they'll be disciplined enough to keep this one within the number and put up a tough fight for Connecticut. I like Stanford in this spot and this game fits my bill.
Good luck buddy.

Slightly too many plays don't you think? Would you consider culling to a top three or similar? Bol...
Not at all. If a side or total meets my criteria for a play, and I feel confident in it, I lock it in. Some days, if you'll notice, I post no plays at all. Some days, like a Saturday, may warrant 10 plays or more. I'm not really fond of ranking my plays based on how I come up with them. Good luck whether you choose to follow or fade!

with all due respect Indy the 1st half UNC is -6 not -3. In fact I'm curious how you were able to get -3. I worked in a casino for years and there is no way a 3 point swing happens during a 1st half bet unless someone is missing from the game and it would have to be Michael Jordan b/c that represents a 6 point full game swing.
not doubting you i'm just curious if it was a mistake or if you really were able to get -3 as I'm sure other followers will be.
thanks for responding and best of luck...

Ha...best comment I've seen in a while on Covers. I don't claim to be a sorcerer, my plays aren't magic, and I'm sure as hell not perfect. Thanks for the humility brother. Good luck tonight.

Yes...Dean Smith is sitting Michael Jordan due to academic reasons. You didn't see that on twitter? Shitt's the wave of the future man.
It was a typo...thanks for bringing that to my attention...
Locked in plays:
Texas Tech +3
Akron -9.5
Stanford +6.5
DePaul -17
San Jose State -7 (Top play)
North Carolina -6 1st Half
Drake -3 1st Half

A lot of perception of season's past belong to Akron as well when setting lines this year. The Zips don't have a point guard, or a backcourt for that matter. The effects of Alex Abreu are really setting in now. Tree and Forysthe are two guys that can create and get their numbers. But who else do they guys go too? There aren't much answers outside of them.

I see where you are coming from, but to clarify what I meant, memories are short in the sports world..."What have you done for me lately?" I think it's much shorter in regards to Akron versus Detroit. The name on their jersey is giving them more credit than Akron's presently is, in my opinion. Either way, it's a moot point. The line is set, and I think Detroit lacks much more than Akron does at this point.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate any other opinion I can get. Best of luck to you tonight.
