Only two days so far this season at .500 or worse. Keeping up the head of steam. Friday, for those who follow college hoops closely, know it's a day routinely packed with Metro Atlantic and Ivy League games. Let's get it started...
Arizona State -3
*** DePaul is outmatched against an aggressive and fast-paced Sun Devils team. They love to put the ball in the bucket early and often. Allstate Arena in Rosemont is far from campus and is not much of a home court advantage to begin with. Sun Devils take care of business in Chicago tonight.
Loyola Marymount +21.5
*** This could easily erupt into a blowout, but I'm going with the points here. Pitt plays excellent ball at both ends of the court, but I have a policy against giving up too many points on Friday nights in non-conference matchups. Worthy or not, that factors into my capping here. The Catholics hang tough enough to cover the number.
Canisius -8
*** Billy Baron may be the best player in the MAAC and he returns to a team that, although lacks depth, feels they are poised to make a run at a MAAC title and a chance to make the big dance. Home court will allow their sharp shooting to take full effect early and often. St. Peter's will be no match defensively and flat out stinks on the offensive end. Shooting and rebounding edges will give Canisius an easy win and start them off on the right foot in conference play.

More to come, still have a couple plays I'm looking at.
Happy Friday fellas

Thanks, I appreciate the concern, don't get me wrong..... but what everyone else does and why they're betting a particular side has no influence on me, my reason for making a play, or what happens on the basketball court itself. I don't cloud my judgement with what some assshole halfway across the country is doing. Of all the time and energy I put into handicapping sports, exactly none of it gets wasted worrying about someone else's wager.
Good luck.

Baylor +4.5 *** Love the Bears in this spot. Back at home, great crowd ready to back their boys against a team everyone gives their all against. Not many teams match up with Kentucky very well, but Baylor is one that will. Lots of size and length on the defensive end will force Kentucky to create shots in a hostile environment. 4.5 is too many in my opinion, and wouldn't be shocked to see Baylor come up with the win in this B12/SEC challenge.

just for your information, Baylor is not at home in Waco!...the game is in texas but is being played at the 80000 seat att stadium in Arlington texas...so although it is a couple hours from Waco it is considerd a neutral site ...not a home game for Baylor...this changes the situation quite a bit and since you say you put all this time and energy into capping games, one would think you would at least know where the game is being played.....Kentucky is very used to playing in large venues so Baylor will not have the home court advantage it gets when they play at home.

You're spot on. I completely overlooked that. Made an assumption that each "challenge" game was played at campus sites. But at least you didn't have a cynical, back-handed way of delivering the information. Be informative, not a douchebag. Everyone is prone to a mistake and you're no exception. Good luck and thanks for the heads up.

Wait. Isnt he some fool halfway across the country? Why concern yourself with what he says? Blowhard.
I used "assshole" as a term for a person in general...wasn't meant as an insult to anyone else. And I'm talking about other people's picks.....informative conversation is always encouraged (which I even mentioned back to him). You clearly understood all this, yet still chose to add to the pile of shitt that lurks in these forums. Thanks for your contribution as well.
It never ceases to amaze me how people target random posts on an online forum to attack. Serious question- do that many people out there have such a lack of self-confidence and inferiority complex that they feel driven to talk shitt in an online forum to boost their sense of self-worth?

Thanks, man. Good luck to you too. Good to see someone with an ounce of humility in their system.
My threads are meant for handicapping discussion and BS'ing about sports in general. If you're interested in a person-measuring or pissing contest, go elsewhere. Some people welcome that crap.

Hit around 60% in NCAAF in the forums this season. Cooled down in week 11 or so and have been treading lightly since. The lines get so sharp by that point that it really is a coin flip.
Like Oklahoma State -6 1st half and Arizona State -3 tomorrow.
