Rutgers +1.5

Depaul's conference record and SOS within conference doesn't warrant a favorite.  If this was at neutral site Rutgers by 5 in my book.  leaving a 1.5 favorite on road yet seeing 3 plus points that I'm receiving. 

Rutgers has played the 3rd toughest SOS while entering with 4-8 conference record, while Deacons are 8th SOS record and entering with 1-10 record.  Depaul coming off an emotional loss vs ND while Rutgers coming off win at home vs Pirates.

Sometimes numbers/stats don't tell the whole story - they make you overthink the winners. I would recommend you buyout of the RU pick....

What is the rest of the story then? Seems too me that Gekko is doing pretty well with his capping. It's fins to disagree on a pick, but to come into his thread & tell him he should buy out without any reasoning from you is pretty arrogant.

DG, I understand the rules of the website and I am always open for people to disagree with my picks as I've lost 79 times this year or something in that range.  You are correct as if you do disagree with me please offer some reasoning or statistical base.  I think we do have a right to see your side of story.

Are you siding with the linesmakers on this one GG? My numbers are saying about a 2pt win for GM with both team's SOS almost equal...GM slightly harder schedule. Normally when I see this type of gap between line and my numbers it means Vegas knows something I do not.
