UCONN is quite capable of covering a large spread in a tournament.
That's the advice I went with. Took UCONN +9.5 Thanks fubah
@Coloneljim
Glad it worked for you, Jimbo

** Similar reasoning to my FLORIDA recommendation.
If I was betting, I would be I LEANING to Maryland
They should ultimately prevail SU but I expect it could be very close against the cinderella RAMS. Maryland's level of play should remain consistent, and Colo. State might also - threatening an upset.....but I also have the upstart RAMS on a "bubble burst" watch. TERPS are a significant step UP in opponent calibre for them, so it's hard to say what will happen. Guessing doesn't help! Best to watch the game flow before making any decisions. But if I was betting, a lowered ML on TERPS - during LIVE PLAY - is the best way to go (not the spread!)...otherwise PASS.....don't need the aggravation of forcing a bet. Either get the GOOD line in your favor or PASS.
Kinda like what coaches tell their QBs when they will be looking for a receiver in the endzone: "If it's not there, don't force it - throw it away!"

Now TERPS - not playing well and down by 8 - triggers my rule to HOLD OFF and watch to see if they climb back into it. Right now being outplayed. I avoid betting on teams being outplayed. They can be DOWN in the score, however, but must not be outplayed!

Houston, Florida, Texas Tech and Kentucky
Duke, Auburn, Alabama, and SPARTY
Now from those 8 it's a CRAP SHOOT for the final 4.
Wildcats!

TERPS down 30 - 37 at HT.
They are being OUTPLAYED. ML or spread are easily bettable but if you are not on them already I wouldn't even consider them until their stats improve significantly (game metrics in the boxscore)

After 7 mins into the 2h, yes, the TERPS are back!

Whilst my advice was to wait for the ML to drop down for a good AND metric-SUPPORTED moneyline bet on SPARTY, they fell behind 0 - 7 to start the game and that 7 pt diff immediately triggers my rule to HOLD OFF until we see that Sparty gets their act together

My moneyline TERPS!
STANFORD fell behind (at home!) but not being significantly outplayed and the ML on them dropped into easily bettable range while down most of the half
