Even in my 3rd year cap-n CBB..Im still playing to many games. My best plays Wed : UAB & Utah Valley 2-0 / my best plays Thur. FAU & Zags, 2 dogs that my model showed to cover and /or to win the gm SU, but I snuck Michigan st in there and never had that great feeling about knowing they were vulnerable on defense and knowing how sneaky good KST was, especially as a dog. My model showed tight game..was torn on that one but went with Mich st..should have stayed away.
Lessons learned. That's how we become better at this game..by learning from our mistakes and putting them into practice the next time around. Reframe your mistakes as an opportunity to learn and develop. Identify the skills, knowledge, resources, or tools that will keep you from repeating the errors. Review your progress keep track of your plays / units so you can reference. One troll on here says..just flip a coin its all a guessing game, waste of time handicapping games. Thing is, he wont post his plays or keep a units record for us to track his progress. Just spews out crap. Ran into two trolls like that this year. Trinkster in football & OneWayOut in CBB. Two delusional wanna bees that wont post there plays, but want to tell you and both have said this. " They've been gambling before I was born." That word right there tells me all about them..They're gamblers. They have no whereithal whatsoever..no handicapping or investing skills even though I do play like a Cowboy...lol. I win in the long term and prove it by keeping track of my progress. Step up to the plate and prove it instead of shoot-n your mouth off..It aint over till its over -Yogi Berra
Friday: my best 2 games were Miami + & ML and Texas -4., but I went for the kill, and even though Ive been successful with going for the kill in the past.. it backfired. Didn't get hurt...but +$15.00.?.. makes you sick and on top of it all..the kid from Princeton misses 1 FT and kills the +10.5 spread I had on them. That whole day right there teaches lessons. One play at a time..your best play and my best play today is UCONN by DD over Zags.
Yes they beat UCLA..did you watch UCLA vs Northwestern. They couldn't put them away, that was a sign..a red flag. Zags came in with not to great of a defense, but formidable one, but they were able to over power UCLA with their offense and because UCLA's offense was 14 ppg worse, their defense became tired and the Zags even though they hit that lucky 3pt shot in the end..it wasnt the Zags defense that did it. It was Jalen Suggs...the offense and that's what I based my play on, Zags offense to beat UCLA
Now we have the Zags vs UCONN. UCONN can go toe to toe with Zags on offense. Their recent road offense is 15 ppg better than UCLA's However the kicker is that their defense is just as good as UCLA. My theory, UCONN is going to be able to Keep their foot on the gas with their offense and shut Zags offense down with their defense going into the 2nd half. Something UCLA failed to do...lets see if they can.
