I'm not crazy about Purdue today.  From what I've seen, Purdue's motion offense can't get any continuity against teams that can zone them effectively (Northwestern, Ohio St. . .  Alabama was throwing some zone at them and led big at the half a while back too).  That being said Michigan is a good play against on the road.  The way the folded down the stretch the other night was a crime.

    Good luck bud.

All over the Rutgers play with you . . .

GL today UNC... I like the Rutgers game, that's a boatload of points to lay to a Princeton-style team like Gtown.  Love Ohio St as well, that might be my top play today.

As for UConn, I just have to say that I'm a big Huskies fan and will be up at the game today, and I don't have a whole lot of confidence in this team even though this is a game they could use for their resume.  This team is badly is lacking in 3-pt shooting, poor FT shooting team as well.  Walker's decision-making has been very questionable over the past several games as well.  I believe the biggest factor is who guards Damion James?  Having a PF that versatile i think is a MAJOR problem for UConn.  Oriakhi, Majok and Edwards will have to check him at times.  They're not well-suited to go out and guard on the perimeter.  On the other end, I don't think UConn has any proven go-to guy this year in the post.  So posting up James isn't of any advantage with a bigger guy in my opinion.  The last factor is Avery Bradley who from what I've seen, is one of if not THE best defensive guards in the country.  I think he'll be on Dyson for much of the game and that in turn will cause UConn to have a couple scoring droughts in this one.  They'll need Robinson to have a dominant effort to take this one.

BOL today, I'd just be careful with UConn.. I'd say no play or small if you do.  Go get it today

Another factor that us UCONN area peeps should perhaps point out is that this HOME game is at the STORR's campus where they've only played TWICE since Dec. 6th.!!!

BOL today, I'd just be careful with UConn.. I'd say no play or small if you do.  Go get it today

Another factor that us UCONN area peeps should perhaps point out is that this HOME game is at the STORR's campus where they've only played TWICE since Dec. 6th.!!!

Finally, we're getting some legitimate Hoops talk in here....That thread yesterday was brutal...Keep the Hoop talk only coming fellas.

Looking over that Rutgers play, but man, they're a tough squad to back, even snatching 20

This is true, the XL Center isn't half the homecourt edge that Gampel is.  Another factor in UConn's favor is Texas' terrible FT shooting.  Those are a few reasons to side with UConn.  I just think UC has no answer for Damion James unless they play small ball with Stanley at PF, which I doubt they will.  Too many flaws for UConn overall... we have a team that has struggled through large portions of games offensively, and today we face one of the stiffest defenses in the country.  I don't think it bodes well for the Huskies.  I think K-State is far better than Uconn this year, and Manhattan is a bigger homecourt advantage than Storrs imo as well.  Regardless, I'll be at the game cheering em on, but i have to be a realist though when it comes to the $

Lookin forward to your insights! BOL
I have no lean on the OSU and WVU game but let me tell you that there is nothing lockish about the Buckeyes on the road.  They are a way different team at home.  Bob Huggins will have a game plan to stop Evan Turner and as everyone knows it all starts and ends with Evan Turner.  On defense, I see the Bucks settling in that zone which has been killed this year by good shooters.  I always avoid backing road teams who play a zone with the exception of the Cuse.  It doesn't allow you to generate any offense from turnovers and defense to get easy buckets and on the road you gotta get some easy ones b/c you won't shoot a high %.  Matta is not a great X's and O's coach but his guys will play hard.  6 seems like good #.

Don't think it is.  I mean anything less and you would be saying this game is a pick em on a neutral court.  Not sure I will bet it, but wva is tough at home.

Off topic..... but How about DETROIT today? At HOME, at Pick 'Em? Why is Wright St. favored at 12-8 against an improving 12-7 squad at Home.... Detroit also has played common opponents better than Wright State. I am all over this one, anyone else? BOL today with RUT, UNC
