If I play the Saturday game it will be posted in here also. As for now here is the Ship...
USC +3.5 (2.5U)
May add more when I get back from all the holiday stuff. USC will be in a dog fight but they have already played a team identical to what UNLV does. They know what to expect. Will be alot closer this time against the same style but USC will frustrate the shit out of the Rebels

The only other play I like is NE. They need a win alot more than SMU does. NE has been in so many close games to fall short and I can see them putting this one away early only to see SMU folding in the 2nd H. This NE team is a very good team and they exerted so much enrgy against SMC that they had nothing in the tank against WMU. NE style will really frustrate SMU and they should run away by 10+. I will not touch it as the only value I see is in USC.

Your the first of many but please start your own thread and not clutter mine unless you post some insight. I have enough posts and these type of statements are useless.

Good point on NE and their schedule. Their schedule has been insane and you have to respect anyone that drops Utah St. - a team with 9 total losses in two years.
NE actually has post season expectations, whereas SMU really is still rebuilding and not playing for much. This is as close to do or die for NE as it's going to get, especially for a team full of seniors.
Too late for me because I locked on SMU but something I wish I would have thought about. I'm afraid if SMU is not leading at half this one is going to be done.

I wouldn't really say SMU is rebuilding, they have 3 legit scorers in McCoy, Faye & Dia & Williams & Haynes are nice options as well. This team is far better than they get credit for, and regardless of NE's SOS they still rely way to heavily on Adako & Janning for my liking.

How many do you think Mizzou will be laying to AP? 16ish?
The over will also be worth a look because mizzou is killing it at home and playing that balls to the wall frenetic pace

I guarentee this group is out getting into some trouble tonight. First Bowl win ever I believe and the hoops team was on the island to witness it.

Rebuilding may have been the wrong word, but they haven't gotten used to winning. 13-16, 10-20, 9-21 - three consecutive years with less wins than the year before. My point is expectations are much lower there than at Northeastern.
I agree that SMU is a talented team. Good guards and good athletes. I just don't know why they can't close games. They had leads down the stretch last year against good teams and couldn't get it done. . . I'm on SMU tomorrow, but a little less confident after thinking it through and thinking about styles of play.
I agree with you about Janning. However one of my favorite angles - sometimes these mid-major senior laden teams tend to implode when expectations are somewhat high and then things start going south. See Niagara even before Benn got injured.
Tomorrow will tell us a lot about both of these teams.
Good luck to everyone. Good discussion.

Will find out very early where this team is at. I say give them 10 min. if they are in to playing or not.

gl with sc, ill prolly be on them later as well. austin peay was the game that stood out to me as well on sunday, missouri was celebrating like they were going to the final 4 after they beat illinois, with christmas in between these 2 games, cant be a good spot for the tigers.
