It's never made sense to me why bets should cover anything past regulation time.

oh wow you are serious....um ok.

Well you bet on the game, right?  The game is not over until the fat lady sings/last whistle blows.  The ONLY time I would entertain an argument about not counting overtime is in an over/under bet(but that's more work for the book to go back and see what the score was at regulation)

I see overtimes as something that just bails out some people (especially those who bet on the over) and screws the others. It's past regulation and no bet can be placed accounting for OT. Lines are produced on the assumption there will be no overtime.

Houston is bad ass when they get it rolling.

I was leaning the other way and never pulled the trigger. Glad I pulled out. Houston is to tough when it goes their way and maybe they lose in the next ot. but I would allways step closely on a Houston game. Flame out ,Flame on!!
