I put $100 on an 8 team parlay, and left 2 open spots.
North Carolina ML -200 Stony Brook ML -163 Cornell ML -169 Western Kentucky -265 UL Lafayette -420 UCI -370 OPEN SPOT OPEN SPOT
When I play an 8 teamer, which is the most teams my sportsbook will allow in a parlay, I usually buy max points (2 pts) on the spread and/or play MLs. A lot of juice doesn't matter to me in an 8 team parlay.
Right now it's paying out 100 to win 2941, but I expect that amount to go significantly down if I pick huge faves.
So, I'm looking for a couple of bets I can include (even at large vigs) to get this 8 teamer pulled off.
I actually have a couple of other ones with 3 open spots, but I didn't put in as much. I may include suggestions in those other parlays as well.
Thanks in advance, my Covers brethren.

Agree on Illinois … Nebraska typically poor on road… a late season home loss could drop you a seed or 2 this late in the season… but these are 19ish year olds…. Who now have access to legal gambling… and dog moneyline is one way they get it …. Go with ‘your’ gut after you decipher the info.

For the parlay I mentioned in the original post, I added Quinnipiac ML last night at -275. (Currently at -305 in my book.)
I will most likely decide between Illinois and Tulane for the 2nd fill. With the high juice Quinnipiac ML added to my parlay, it brought it down my (hopeful) winnings to $2073. Adding a another high vig play should bring it down to anywhere between $1400 to $1500. Don't know if I should be greedy and go for an ATS play, a low juice ML, or take the close-to-sure thing play I can get.
I mentioned I had other open parlays. I played them for $50 (instead of the $100), but added games with less juice and has 3 open spots. With those, I've added a myriad of plays consisting of Quinnipiac ML, Tulane ML, and Illinois ML. I also added Youngstown St. ML (which I have a single bet on the spread, as well).
I also created a new parlay with all the suggestions here, minus Purdue/Wisconsin, which I'm going to kindly stay away from.
Thanks again, all, and let's see how this plays out.

How do you create an 8 team parlay and leave two spots open? I’ve never seen this before?
When you create a parlay, there should be an option to leave a certain amount of open spots to be filled in later. I'm not sure if your book has it. I use a smaller, less known sportsbook and I asked my agents to include this for me. I knew the option could be added because I had a "Fill Open" option that I was initially not able to use.
They added it, no problem. I've had some good success utilizing this option. It allows me to focus on some sure plays on one day, and then continuously add through the week.

what I would do as long as you can leave a spot open. wait and see if quinnipac wins then put a fav in for last play and then bet the other side plus the points for a lesser amount say 500 and you either Winn 1500 or 400 and maybe hit the MIDDLE. ? can you use the Super Bowl ?

That's exactly what I typically do. I decide to either hedge with a middle.opportunity, or completely avoid the middle and just go with the maximum split. My decision usually depends on whether my balance is in the red or black and how close it is to Monday (cash out/cash in day).
