I have tried to give everyone a heads up on the Summit league this year. They have been a covering machine against the bigger conferences. The line isn't out yet but I am really licking my lips to play this game. I personally will be present to watch the game when Nevada invades Frost Arena Tuesday evening.
I am going to put the line at SDSU -5.5. Yes I said that correctly, South Dakota State laying points at home to the former WAC darling.
If SDSU is less laying 8 or less I will be all over them to roll Nevada. The Jackrabbits have a great inside/outside game. More importantly they have hit at least 40% of their 3 pointers every game this year. They are particularly good at home. If those three fall at a high rate I would not be shocked to see South Dakota State win by 20 plus.
Nevada has horrendous perimeter defense. They would like to run with South Dakota State but they have been able to run with anyone this year. They will push the tempo and kick it out for an open three if at possible.
My biggest play of NCAAB this year will likely be on this game. Just trying to give everyone a heads up in advance. The only way I don't see SDSU winning by double digits is if they have the worst shooting night of their career.
Then on the horizon this Saturday South Dakota State will host North Dakota State. This is a huge rival game and has historically be fairly close. If Nevada gets rolled like I think will happen then the South Dakota State line will be inflated against North Dakota State. Play NDSU in a game that will be hard fought by both teams. Just my two cents.
BOL!

Do you thing this game will be on the board Jerson? I don't see it.
GH it is on the board according to scoresandodds but a line has not yet been released. I am trying to figure out my stragity for this game. Which direction do you think the line would move? Obviously it depends what the line is. Just curious your thoughts. BOL!

Have you seen the Jacks in action this season? Seems like they have a good team. Nagy does a good job with his teams.
Yeah I have seen every home game this year and every road game via computer. Nagy has always done a good job. This year he has the talent to exploit nearly any perimeter defense. They have a shooter at every position this year and the bench is deep. I really like their chances to win the conference and get to the big dance. BOL!

this game is tuesday..not monday that is why you don't see it yet. You won't see anything till 5 pm monday afternoon/
I know.... I said as much in my post. I am just giving anyone a heads up before it is released. I think that you will get a sweet line with South Dakota State against a much bigger name. These are the types of situations you really try to exploit playing this game. BOL!

You are not one of those guys that sit courtside and ring those fricking cowbells are you? LOL. I am from up north, not much of a State fan. I do go to a game here and there. Was actually thinking of going to the Summit Conference tournament sometime, hopefully they keep it in SF.

LOL... no that is NOT me. I was a USD alumni so frankly it has been difficult enough for me to cheer for the Jacks but given the fact I have now lived in Brookings so long it is hard not to. But I don't stand up and cheer the fight song or any of that BS. I just like watching the game and would rather see the Jacks beat whoever else they are playing.

I appreciate that... if you find anything please post it. I would still be partying that win too. I put Boise in tons of teasers so I lost money in the game but damn you got to feel just happy as hell for Colin Kappernick and that Nevada team. I just wish that they got more respect in the BCS rankings. I felt after that win they should have been top ten. Oh well. BOL!

i know this SDSU team well. they will play be dancing this year imho ... very promising team that will have a distinct home court advantage against Nevada. we need some Nevada peeps to fill us in on their end of the equation because i am also quite certain the rabbits will bring their A game.

Good stuff billy! May I ask how or why you follow the Jacks? Happy to hear that I am not the only one. Just curious.

sdsu was up 9 @ half vs Iowa this year @ iowa... gave up the lead 2x and still ended up winning by about 8-9 pts (a few free throws at the end of the game).
sdsu is a good team. i'm anxious to see the line as well.

i dont want to disclose personal info because i might jeopardize people close to the team. i do not have access to the day to day operations but i follow the team closely. i would like to leave it at that. btw ... i am a USD grad as well so this is very interesting.

Fair enough. I am getting pretty annoyed that they haven't released the line yet. I have been quite anxious waiting for the line. BOL!

Thanks for the good info on SD St. I haven't seen any line yet at 5dimes, so don't count on this or theN. Dakota St being on teh board. the reason is the linemakers are very aware that the only sharp people would be putting their money on this usually unlined games.
As far as Nevada goes, I live in Reno and this team is one of the greenest teams I've ever seen since I've been here. They only have one starter back and they are missing a couple of guys to injury and elig, so they have no depth. They surprised me when they beat Montana at home in their first lined game after losing to Seattle Pacific in an exibition game. They are only playing well in spurts right now, so if you can get a line on this team under 8, you should be okay!

line probably won't come out until closer to 5:00 CDT tonight. That is when the Wichy-UMKC line came out last night.
I will keep anxiously awaiting the line release. Scoresandodds seems to think that the power line in this matchup is SDSU -3. Usually in these matchups the power line isn't that far off from the listed line. I would be stoaked to get SDSU -3. BOL!

I'd be stoked to get a line on this. For some reason, I don't get lines on these extra games until about 6pm. GL Jerson! Hope you make a nice score tonight.
