Clear lookahead for Seattle to playing the #1 seed in the WAC. NM just played on the road at GCU 2 days ago, that road trip up to Seattle is NOT EASY. Seattle will be ready

"New Mexico St -2½ over Seattle
10:00 PM EST. There’s a really good chance that this game decides 1st place in the WAC, as both Seattle and New Mexico St are right at the top of the conference with a 12-2 mark. New Mexico St will be a double-digit favorite in its three remaining games after this so this is “the’ game for them.
For Seattle, this is unchartered waters, as they have only been around since the early 2000’s (Seattle had a college team way back in the 50’s and 60’s). As the regular season comes to a near close, Seattle is a nice team but they are far and away the second best team here and the Aggies of New Mexico State will be on a mission to remind them of that here.
Last year, New Mexico State couldn’t practice or play games in its own STATE let alone its own home court arena. The Aggies played their home games at Eastwood HS in El Paso, TX and their practice time was anything but normal. So, you can see how Chris Jans finished an uncharacteristic 7-6 in the WAC. NMSU’s other three WAC finishes under Jans? 16-0, 15-1, and 12-2. This season Jans has arguably his most talented team ever with four starters back and a slew of transfers (per usual). Now we ask you, who would you rather get behind in a big game like this that will ultimately settle the regular season winner? NMSU and it’s wealth of talent and experience or a Seattle team that played one of the easiest non-conference schedules in the country and that has never been this close before?
Seattle’s toughest opponent this year was in fact these Aggies, a game they would lose by 15 points back in Las Cruces. The Redhawks next toughest? Washington State perhaps? They lost that one by 18. Next toughest? UNLV maybe? They lost that one by 20. The Redhawks non-conference Strength of Schedule ranked 352nd in the country but all the market sees is a 21-6 overall record.
New Mexico State’s non conference Strength of Schedule ranked 66th in the country, which is close to 300 positions better than Seattle. The Aggies beat Davidson by 11 and they also beat Washington State among others. Its 22-4 record is vastly more impressive than Seattle’s because they played real teams while Seattle feasted on nobodies.
After last year’s ridiculous season that must be tossed out the window, New Mexico State now gets a chance to take its rightful spot at top of the conference, a conference it has dominated for eight straight years (we're throwing out last year). Prior to this season under Jans, NMSU is a ridiculous 43-3 in conference play; they’ve made the tournament every year (asterisk on 2020 season) Jans been employed and no team has come even within two games of the Aggies’ final league record in that time span. They’re the most talented team in the WAC, they’re the most experienced, and they have the best coach. Now make your choice. New Mexico State Aggies or the Seattle Imposters?"
