NIDT(Not in Ditty's Tourney)  Rules!
 
Even if you are in Ditty's tourney you can still join!
 
To join you must pick 4 moneyline picks and 4 ATS picks by the end of Sunday.  So I can make brackets for the NIDT to start on Moday of this next week! 
31 spots are open I get an automatic bid of course for all the hard work.   
 
I will be using the following points system to determine the winner of each match-up and seedings.
 
 Take the favorite Take the dog (moneyline)
-7 win = 5PTS +7 win= 35PTS
-6.5 win= 6PTS +6.5 win= 34PTS
-6 win= 8PTS +6 win= 32PTS
-5.5 win= 9PTS +5.5 win= 31PTS
-5 win= 11PTS +5 win= 29PTS
-4.5 win= 13PTS +4.5 win= 27PTS
-4 win= 14PTS +4 win= 26PTS
-3.5 win= 16PTS +3.5 win= 24PTS
-1.5 TO -3 win=18PTS +1.5 TO
+3 win= 22 PTS PK to -1 20PTS PK to +1=20PTS
Anything above -7 or +7 gets the same score as listed above for -7 or +7. 
Those of us who played in eagles tourney may remember the scoring system for ML picks being the same. 
 
ATS wins get you 20 points each correct pick!
Please put the spread on all your ATS picks or I will have to use wagerlines closing numbers!
 
The rounds will be played as follows!
Round 1(32)    Feb 16- 19
Round 2(16)    Feb 20-22
Round 3(8)      Feb 23-26
Round 4 (4)     Feb 27-March 1
Round 5 (2)     March 2-March 8
 
Wish I could give more time for picks, but we just don't have it.  If this goes well I wll do one again next year and start with plenty of time to do a 64 team tourney. 
 
Due to the Hours I work I will determine the standings from 2-4 AM ET at the end of each round and for seeding so everyone will know if the made it or not in time to start making picks for the next day!!
 
I will also try and update standings during the week for the match-ups. 
 
You can start making your picks to qualify starting Feb 12th which is Thursday!!
 
Do not post any picks for games played tonight they will be discarded!

I will be in and will get my plays in here by sunday. Thanks for setting this up. The only suggestion i have is why not have some of the rounds during the ncaa tournament. If not no big deal. Looking forward to it.

I want to use the reg season for more picks!
If it goes well this year I will do another one next year and it will start with plenty of time left to give a week for each round!
Plus I might do other contests at beginning of season until tourney to let people earn automatic bids for being the best in each conference.
