Parlay Leg limit

Curious what you guys consider to me too many games on a parlay bet. I mainly just bet CBB but I am continually losing 1 leg on a 4-6 team bet. I mostly bet the ML but will pick my spots on the spread as well. I am not a huge risk better $50 is 1 unit for me. I do research the games so im not just throwing darts. Am I playing to many games on a wager

Last night, with a small card, options were limited. a 5 team parlay tough.

Thursday nights, when the smaller conferences are running amok, rarely do i see a play

Can't force a parlay just because you want one.

You need reliable teams to hit parlays. Most people don't even factor in Conferences. The Big 10 is alot more predictable than Conference USA. Try and win a parlay playing Conference USA teams. They are all Jekel and Hyde. So, Thursday Nights, not a parlay night.

I do well on Money Line Parlays. play max 4 teamers during week. Saturday i can get more options.

I suggest narrowing down your top 4-6 plays and taking the points OR ml with the most reliable team. Check predictions here and other pro sport bettors. Betting less plays seems to be the better move. I like to find a -4 to -8 spread for a better team playing at home and take the ml. May be a -200 to -300 but I’ll take that with a team that I feel has a 80-90% chance to win the game. that’s just me though

 I have found out the hard way on the lesser teams. Definite Jekyll & Hyde. 

two. winning is hard enough, betting parlays is bankroll suicide. bol

 Thanks for the input. I try to bet the same way you do. Just frustrating when 1 9 pt home favorite loses to a team with 0 road wins. I will keep grinding for sure. I need to find the discipline to not force anything as @TJZags598 stated

 one game at a time, slow and steady build your roll. biggest mistake ppl make is they think gambling is going to make them rich, it's not. grind and maintain an account. you said youre a $50 bettor, i would load up $500 (if youre able) and grind your $50 plays. no parlays no -150 juice, just straight up plays at -110ish. youll have a lot more fun and will be making less deposits, maybe even find yourself making some money. bol

 I agree here, discipline yourself to find the best play of the day. whether it is a -110 taking the points with a team or finding a safer ml play at -150 or -200, it is easy to jump the gun and bet money. the key is analyzing lines, comparing/contrasting other picks from solidified betters, and sticking with as little plays as possible. I play with $500 and bet anywhere from $25-100 on each bet

Good info from all you guys. Appreciate your time. Im going to change things up a little bit. I check the threads in here for picks and do my own research on games. I try to look through the days games write down some leans & then go research deeper.

i like to limit myself to one open parlay throughout the week; add 1 pick per day with a 6 team max... then the only other time i add parlays is when in up for the week. i'll throw in a couple 5 or 6 teamers for 1 unit each, if im up 10+ units.

i never look at a parlay as a way to "catch up" or "make back;" strictly a shot at a bonus if i'm already up.
