I saw the highlights of Wright-Foreman. Quite a performance. Glad you enjoyed the game.
Also glad you got on the Purdue blockbuster. They didn't play real well but it was good enough to win by 19
Should have had a 5* blockbuster on Texas as well. I won 3 ways on the game but I should have been heavier. I knew the deal there. WV beat Kansas at home because the Jayhawks played poorly, 14 1st half turnovers, most unforced I might add. But the real story was Lawson was all Kansas had down low inside, WV beat them on the glass. Same thing happened when they beat Oklahoma at home next. They outrebounded the Sooners 47-30 and outscored them 27-9 on second chance points. WV was just more physical on the boards.
I knew that wasn't going to happen against Texas. Hayes and Ozetkowski just to big and mobile for the Mounties. WV opened the game going almost 5 minutes without scoring. Texas opened the second half on an 11-1 run and the blowout was on. They had 8 dunks in the second half, mostly uncontested. I read the news sites this morning. Huggins said he was embarrassed.
I joined another forum this week. There is not as much interaction there but they do have a few cappers that I have kept tabs on since mid football season. I like this site better and have more contacts here but it so cumbersome to use and a real pain to post here. I posted a 14-6-1 there yesterday and it only took seconds to get on and post. I had real difficulties again here yesterday. Couldn't get on at times. I guess that's why I left off KST and Michigan here. I was working off the same card. Maybe it's just senility on my part.
I spent Wed night,Thursday, and Friday capping the Saturday action. Man, I had a great list compiled. Ended up scratching Providence at StJohns, Butler at G'town, and DePaul at Xavier because I thought I had to many games. I don't think much of the Red Storm or the Hoyas, talented but neither play as a team on a regular basis and there poorly coached imo. Same can be said for the Mousekateers but multiplied. What a dumpster fire there. Man, have they fallen off since Chris Mack left. Look what he has accomplished at Louavul with a program that was near the death penalty. When he gets his recruits in that program will really rise.
Made a bad mistake with the Huskies in Tempe. Twice I almost googled the Seattle news to check on Dickerson's injury status but got distracted and didn't. Had I done that I would have seen the Huskies, and coaching staff, were suffering from flu like symptoms. It was in the headlines there. Unfortunately, I didn't go there until this morning.
The Sun Devils got blown out by Wazzu at home as dd chalk. But it was after beating hated rival Zona and with Washington on deck. The perefect sandwich, and instead I'm eating crow. The books made out on this game, they moved the line from ASU +1 to -2 and the public flocked in like flies on sh t. I was one of the dummies. The difference between 14-6-1 and 16-4-1.
Anyway, gotta go for now.
Bol today Bandit.
