There is always a time where you have the dog + a few points 3U and also that dog ML for 1U
Game is down to the wire practically no time left and your dog is going to cover probabky but probably won't pull off the ML.
Do you root for OT and risk losing both bets, or possibly hitting both? Or do you root for the game to end as us, take the 3U spread win, take the profit, who cares about the ML.
I always root for the game to end take the 2U profit.
Today's St Joe's LaSalle game, televised here, St Joe's dominating all game but only by 3-7 points, all game pretty much. But LaSalle came back very late with some momentum to take the lead with St Joe's covering by the hook with possession and about 5 seconds left. I rooted for OT and St Joe's did not disappoint.
