UCONN @ Notre Dame +2 (1 unit) Where to start? How about Notre Dame's 29-game home court winning streak? The Joyce Center is one of college basketball's most underrated venues and the Irish can look like worldbeaters in their own gym. A few important considerations here...UCONN backup PG Ryan Boatright, who has been a key contributor this year with 10.2 ppg and a supplier of energy off the bench, has been suspended due to eligibility issues. This makes UCONN really shorthanded in the backcourt as the Huskies now only have two guards in the rotation. In addition to providing depth, Boatright has been UCONN's most energetic player, quickening the pace when he enters the game and causing a disruption on the defensive end with his quickness and athleticism. The Huskies have looked lethargic on the road all year and an 11:00 A.M. start is probably not going to help that problem. A few of the players said they viewed the WVU game as a desperation game after the consecutive losses and they eventually pulled out a win. I'd be hard-pressed to see them come out with the same desperation in South Bend. Notre Dame built some serious confidence with the 2OT win at Louisville and has reason to believe it can be a legitimate tournament team. Cooley, Atkins, and Martin are forming a formidable triumvirate and guys like Dragevich and Grant are coming into their own with some key contributions. No reason UCONN should be favored here. If ND holds its own on the glass, which it should, the Irish have a really solid chance of extending the home win streak to 30 games.

Oral Roberts @ IUPUI +7.5 (1 unit) Full disclosure: Relative to other conferences, my knowledge of the Summit League is limited. What I do know, however, is that Oral Roberts is clearly the best team in the league and on an absolute roll right now. Winners of 8 straight overall and now 7-0 in conference, Scott Sutton's Eagles have beaten, in succession, the 4 next-best teams in the league. Most recent of these victories was a thrilling 71-70 2OT win at Western Illinois on Thursday night. They turn around less than 48 hours later for another road game, this time at scuffling IUPUI. The Jaguars are down this year with Coach Run Hunter now performing miracles at Georgia State. Still, this is an ideal spot to back them. The school is hosting a "white-out" for homecoming weekend and should have its best crowd of the year. ORU beat IUPUI 3 times last season, including the conference tournament semis. The Jags have the overall talent to hang and are led by 3 senior starters, including 2000 point scorer Alex Young. Great time for ORU to exhale after beating the four closest challengers for the league title and coming off of an exhausting 2OT road win two nights ago.

Mississippi Valley St, Detroit, Sam Houston St, Delaware St, Bryant, Maine, Dartmouth, Sacred Heart, Pitt, South Florida. Not exactly an impressive home winning streak for ND. Major step-up in class today vs UCONN. Also played their first two road games w/ Calhoun suspended......

I like the IUPUI writeup, agree they can hang on talent and appears to be a nice spot for them.
What do you mean homecoming though?
Based on the article I read it's part of "Homecoming Week 2012," which I assume is like the football version of homecoming with various events and such around the campus. Here's the article:

Very true on both accounts. But Brey and the players have said that they carry a different swagger and confidence on their home court. Is it justified? Perhaps not, but it's working and the team is on the upswing.

Michigan @ Iowa +3.5 (1 unit) I'm expecting a terrific effort from the Hawkeyes today after consecutive losses to OSU and MSU by a combined 63 points and the Chair Slam Heard 'Round the World. Michigan has been in every game and isn't a stranger to the environment it will see at Carver-Hawkeye, but the helter-skelter Iowa tempo could be a problem for frosh PG Trey Burke. Michigan hosts Sparty on Tuesday in a major conference rivalry and a look-ahead is entirely possible. I'll be greatly disappointed if Iowa doesn't start fast right out of the gates.
