Actually financial advisers really help people. Especially, Sole Business Owners they cut their taxes, build stock portfolios for them, tax haven college funds for their kids. I was a financial advisor for one year and learned what was what, thought I knew a lot but turned out I didn't understand shite especially changing laws and rules. I got in on a flavored ecig liquid before it was a thing for not much venture capital based on what the people at the office were doing. Owned a percentage for a couple years and business blew up the young college grads that started it had a right to buy back their company % and bought my share I was happy as hell. Lots of small business owners don't know what to do with their money besides get bigger or buy real estate or land. They are usually invested in a crappy mutual fund. If they weren't need then more one would have them. Also good for older people that don't want one of their crooked kids stealing their money after they get old and don't know what day it is.
Anybody can do all that on thier own, for free.. and with the invention of the internet its easier than ever...It's not rocket science- My brother does everything, and it took him about 6 months to get qualified and licensed

Ok, whatever...I can play basketball but will never play in the NBA. People can always do things but do they do them well and then their people that do things at the next level. Actually I went to Uni not a six month course. Didn't meet any 6 months course guys mostly MBAs with finance degrees or lawyers working crazy hours seven days a week to build their client base so in 5 or 10 years or 15 years they could setup their own shop and take their clients with them. It was a great learning experience for me but fuck it was boring and selling yourself everyday. Guys and girls became like family members to their clients but once they had a large client base they were on call 24/7. Family health emergency call the financial advisor, business problems call the financial advisor, divorce call the financial advisor, mistress needs a place call the financial advisor, drug problem, dui car wreak call the financial advisor and of course stock market fluctuations call the financial advisor, knocked don't work daughter call the financial advisor, people with money are needy and greedy.
