I placed a small wager on 5 vs 12 upset total, zero, +450.

AT THOSE ODDS I LIKE IT BUT I FIND IT HARD TO THINK THERE WONT BE AT LEAST ONE.  JUST HISTORY AND IT IS WHAT  HAPPENS BUT I DO LIKE IT.  MAYBE WE GET MORE 4 13 UPSET .. KENT ST IS A WINNER

I bet all 12s against 5s every year ML and spread. Been doing it for 20+ years.

you gotta be kidding me with Drake.  During the season we are trying to figure out whether we can lay big money on the spread with Drake vs Northern Iowa or Southern Illinois, if they were that good everyone would have cashed huge on Drake all year, now people think they are gonna beat Miami? A team that can beat any team in the nation? Yeah, ok.  Miami huge.  

I can see San Diego St being challenged by CofC.  If CofC can be effective beyond the arc, then they can beat SDST.  

Furman has the shooters to make some noise. I can see them making a run at it into the middle of 2nd half before petering out and getting wore down by the defense.  

I'm looking at Oral Roberts, UL-Lafayette, Kent St, VCU, NC St and Iona as the best candidates for the upset....I will even go Vermont as a team that could keep it within the spread.

  SDSU will defend the 3 pt. Line and Charleston will go home. I’M A SDSU GRAD. and the only thing I fear is every year this team plays great but CANT WIN IN THE NCAA TRMT. GL ALL

St Mary's is head and shoulders above VCU and I think St Mary's is capable of winning the championship. VCU only played 2 teams this year that made the tournament and lost both games pretty bad. They don't have a single quality win all year.

St Mary's beat Gonzaga, Oral Roberts, San Diego State, Hofstra, Vermont. They lost by 5 points against Houston and held Houston to it's lowest score of the year, nearly 30 points below their average.

VCU will struggle to score and will not even stay close in this game.

 Agree i dont get all the Drake love. I like Drake a nice team from Des Moines  a few hrs from where i live. I just dont see them beating Miami. Im a lil wary of the short number as i think it should and  be higher but i will definitely be putting a nice chunk on the canes. Maybe ILL  feel like an idiot after the game is over but i just dont see it.

I think you can at least consider the #12's pulling upsets here.  Drake is a hot team playing Miami that has a key injury.  Oral Roberts returns 6 players that played on their 15 seed team that reached the Sweet 16.  VCU plays a style that directly gives St. Mary's issues.  Charleston is a quality team playing SDSU which comes from a league that traditionally struggles to find wins in March Madness.  

I like VCU the most.  I think their defensive pressure will give St. Mary's a lot of potential issues, especially with St. Mary's starting a freshman PG.  VCU is a physically strong basketball team.

St. Mary's PG is the real deal. He will handle that VCU pressure just fine. He is a Freshman playing like a Senior.  SMS is the one 5 seed i think wins easy but that is my opinion.
